    You've been here for quite some time already, but, still, welcome to Curitiba! I was born and grew up here, but my ancestors also decided to come and venture some decades ago. It's always nice to have different perspectives about the city (and the country in general) from someone that comes from a different country - as you may have noticed, many people here tend to see the negatives only. All the best and success to you and your company!

    I do have a dear german friend from Berlin and he loves Brazil, he actually knows my own country better than I do, he also got a fiance here, but now for financial reasons is better for him to stay in Germany, but he loves our culture, our way to see how life should be, and I think that's is what makes us different from the rest of the world, we certainly have a lot of problems, much more than Germany or western europeans Countries do, but the Brazilian people really knows how to make the best of life, we are the number 1 when it comes to chasing happiness and I'm a little bit proud to know that you would be able find your own peace of happiness here.
    My best friend (a Brazilian one) visited Europe last month (London, Amsterdam, Berlin and a city from Austria that I don't remember which was) and he said that except Amsterdam, the other cities weren't quite as good as São Paulo is (Berlin was by far the worst of all).
    But I must say that São Paulo isn't Brazil, I know that you enjoy visiting South America, but literally Brazil is as big as the rest of South America, we have +/- 50% of all territory and +/- 50% of all population from S.A.
    There are so many different cultures and people in Brazil, São Paulo is the city where almost all of them collide, but take your time to know my beautiful country, you'll fall in love.

    Once I talked to a German guy who had just visited Sao Paolo and he was shocked about how costy it was, more than Germany. I guess in Curitiba life cost may be slightly lower than in Germany, but Sao Paolo is more expensive.

    • @TheBrazilVenture
      @TheBrazilVenture  17 дней назад

      Yeah, Curitiba is a bit cheaper then SP. I really like it here.

    • @mattvideoeditor
      @mattvideoeditor 15 дней назад +1

      Earning in dollars/euro SP is cheap. I guess the problem is the Brazilian income, not exactly the cost of living. But I am in Canada now, and oh boy, the food is expensive as hell compared to Brazil. You have to sell a kidney to buy vegetables and meat. Also the rent went to the roof after COVID-19 and war...

    • @LuisKolodin
      @LuisKolodin 15 дней назад

      @@mattvideoeditor our real/dollar ratio is manipulated by government. Government likes it low, so it exports more. Once it had been 1/1 in the past, and it remained 1/2 for a very long time. So comparing in dollar makes no sense. Real/dollar ratio changed for foreigners out of a sudden, but our prices inflation does not respond to it directly.
      meat and fruits are known to be cheap here fore sure. but apartment rent is insane. it's equivalent to Paris.

    • @TheBrazilVenture
      @TheBrazilVenture  14 дней назад

      That's a strange take. Yeah, if you would earn better, you'd be richer :D Within Brazil, SP is pretty expensive.

      VC mora a tanto tempo fora e já pensa como um de fora!
      O Brasil é gigantesco, tem milhares de cidades e claro, as grandes metropoles são mais inseguras, mas mesmo dentro elas tem muitas que são boas para se viver, mas o melhor é escolher cidades medianas e pequenas seja do sudeste ou do sul. Fuja do Rio de Janeiro, isso aqui é um inferno, vá para Vitoria ou a região serrana do Espirito Santo, vá para inumeras cidades de São Paulo, seja do litoral norte ou do interior, Paraná ou Santa Catarina onde se tem segurança e qualidade de vida!
      O Brasil não é só violência, somente mal informados pensam isso!

      Not only that,but it seems like everyone is uneducated and doesn't care about the well being of others at all,specially in the big cities. People constantly pollute the roads and streets with trash (aggravated by the fact that the government doesn't do shit about cleaning it and urban architecture sucks,everything has holes and is slightly destroyed),constantly make a lot of noise,be it with modified bike exhausts or speakers,and forget to train their dogs to not bark at everything. Life in the big cities is living hell imo,but it should be like that everywhere excluding Japan and Scandinavia... I still really like it here,and I wish we could see a change for the better
