How can we have this kind of video and not have VIXX or Cross Gene 🥺 criminal tbh. VIXX’s Voodoo Doll was iconic! A fun “horror” MV is SHINee’s Married to the Music. They have quite a few bsides that are horror esque too like Nightmare and Evil. But Orgel is prob one of the most chilling songs once you realize what it’s about. Apparently Jonghyun wrote it & it’s heavily inspired by House of Wax, so the idea of a ballerina forced to be spinning in circles forever, alive but stuck, is pretty terrifying. The song does a good job of sounding haunting with their vocals throughout, and the repetitive loop of the instrumental enforces the message of the song. Kang Daniel’s Paranoia is also incredible. He wrote it himself about his battle with depression, and the MV is one of my favorites of all time. So many of the shots that he chooses to use are just incredible. You can watch it 10 times and still notice cool new details. Red Velvet’s comeback next month is supposed to be horror-esque as well so I’m very excited!!
