@sirilluminarthevaliant2895 To be fair to Bale, I believe it's much harder to capture the feel of character that one man spent basically his whole career playing, through not 1, 2, or even 3 different iterations. The animated series, the Arkhamverse, and then the Injusticeverse. Not to mention the other Batman appearances.
I can't help but feel that the first _Iron Man_ took inspiration from this scene. People love seeing an ordinary man going through the process of becoming a superhero... seeing the equipment they use in it's development, testing it, perfecting it, it makes it feel grounded and believable. Hell, Iron Man's first flight almost feels like an homage to what Thomas Wayne says at the beginning of _Batman Begins:_ "Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up again." Tony Stark's first suit ices up and falls from the sky during the first test flight. He immediately corrects the problem, perfecting his design with the next iteration in the Mark III.

"Well at least we'll have spares" That line always makes me laugh and I love how Batmans gadgets are army prototypes that never saw production and what they were made for helps Bruce/Batman quite a bit.
I always loved these scenes. Not only because he builds the suit but also because Freeman’s character has suspicions that he knows what Wayne is doing but even when he’s positive he’s correct they both know what the other does but yet they don’t speak the words. Genius writing.
That scene is a huge part of Begins being my favorite movie of the the trilogy. How Batman is made with all his stuff : the mask, the cape, the armour, the Batmobile, the allies, nothing is left unsaid like "it's bat-magic stuff I created off-screen !"
I remember seeing this theatrically in 2005, and my dad and I thought it was *so fucking cool* how Nolan built in a tactical reason for the ears on the Batsuit, to hold his little radio receivers. Nolan is such a great idea man.
Seems like people only like batfleck because of a cool fight scene , that's it. TDK batman is way closer to the comics in terms of just pure character and writing.
This is so true. And the irony about that is the fact that it was Affleck's stunt double Richard Cetrone that made those fight scenes what they were. Not Affleck.
I liked it because he did the batman really well. and the bruce wayne decently. and he LOOKED like he could actually fight. he was the first batman with some bulk. bale was the opposite, really good bruce wayne, and a decent batman. you also seem to be forgetting the batman voice. good god that was a meme and a half.
Morgan Freeman is so underrated! His extremely great yet subtle acting always makes any scene he is in just THAT much better. Seriously, nobody without some personal agenda, can honestly say that Morgan Freeman ever ruined a scene!
Batman Begins was so epic beyond words. The Dark Knight & The Dark Knight Rises was amazing. Bale’s portrayal of Batman is by far better than Affleck’s.
In my opinion, the batman begins suit was better than the dark knight/rises suit. It looked more intimidating and had the more classic look of the cape wrapped around the body. Sure he couldn't turn his head, but it looked more like Batman.
True, but I do like they give a reason for the suits changing. Bruce feels slow and the restriction of movement is hindering him further. Dunno, just like they gave a legitimate reason for the suits changing.
Fun fact: the reason Bruce paints the suit blacker is that he's covering the heat signature that comes from the suit so head detectors can't find him. This was disclosed on the official videos of making this batsuit.
Batman Begins is still my favorite Batman film of all time. It's a great methodical origin story that builds and builds and builds. It also primarily focuses on Batman fighting criminals. Mob, gangsters, thugs. None of the other Batman films really give us that.
I like how he showed the ears are for the antenna.

Alfred: “In the mean time sir, I suggest you avoid landing on your head”
Batman: (headbutts Falconi in next scene)
I don't think people give Bruce Wayne enough credit for being a genius.
No, they just say "he doesn't have superpowers mimimimi"
Like, HE DOESN'T NEED THEM
Easily the best Batman movie out of all of them.
3:52 *Awesome Batarang noise*
Seems like people only like batfleck because of a cool fight scene , that's it. TDK batman is way closer to the comics in terms of just pure character and writing.
I guess that's the only reason for batfleck
This is so true. And the irony about that is the fact that it was Affleck's stunt double Richard Cetrone that made those fight scenes what they were. Not Affleck.
I liked it because he did the batman really well. and the bruce wayne decently. and he LOOKED like he could actually fight. he was the first batman with some bulk. bale was the opposite, really good bruce wayne, and a decent batman. you also seem to be forgetting the batman voice. good god that was a meme and a half.
@@TownieGirl1974 how is that ironic lol its still afflecks portrayal of batman, why are you talking about stunt doubles like bale didn't use one😂

Does that not count as detective work?
Lost it at: " *STARTLED MORGAN FREEMAN VOICE* "
When Morgan Freeman tells you off, "fair enough" is the only thing you say back
Wake me up guys when someone make a better Batman movie than this.....
SN editz TDK already exists
We are gathered here in memoriam of SN editz, who never woke up again.
Aaaaaand he's still asleep
I should’ve made a joke about the ten months ago thing aw well
The sequel
Morgan Freeman is so underrated! His extremely great yet subtle acting always makes any scene he is in just THAT much better. Seriously, nobody without some personal agenda, can honestly say that Morgan Freeman ever ruined a scene!
I love the way they made the Tumbler sound. Just the the right combination of V8 muscle and jet turbine
I love how they made sure that all details of his suits are bought, and how he made sure he can’t be identified. Makes it more or less realistic
1:41
Me: what is that?
Internet: Tumblr? Oh you DONT WANNA be interested in that.
I love how realistic the Dark Knight trilogy is.
Christian Bale is the best Batman ever!!!! This is perhaps the best work of Christopher Nolan!!!! Dark Knight triology is a masterpiece😎
2:58 you see Christian Bale smile in the background
this batman will always be the best because it showed how everything could actually work and presented unique aspects outside of the norm
STARTLED MORGAN FREEMAN NOISE
wtf this is so good
The greatest batman, the greatest three batman films ever
3:20 It had to have been a nightmare, having to handmake all those Batarangs by himself.
Unknown RUclipsr Agreed, part of me wished it would be used against Bane in TDKR final fight
True, but I do like they give a reason for the suits changing. Bruce feels slow and the restriction of movement is hindering him further. Dunno, just like they gave a legitimate reason for the suits changing.
I personally liked tdkr the best but idk
Agreed man. The new suit is just off to me. Marvel did the same to Black Panther's suit. Original was badass but new one was meh
I think you are forgetting that this isn't a comic.
Fun fact: the reason Bruce paints the suit blacker is that he's covering the heat signature that comes from the suit so head detectors can't find him. This was disclosed on the official videos of making this batsuit.
Add Subtitles and enjoy! Especially at 3:50 " AWESOME BATARANG NOISE!" LOL
"Why bats?"
"Dude, have you SEEN those things? Like filthy little rats with wings-"
(Alfred leaves Bruce to his Bat-rant)
😂
Nolan Trilogy is the most realistic Batman you'll ever get. And the best lore accurate cast, Nolan is ahead of his time.
Batman Begins is still my favorite Batman film of all time. It's a great methodical origin story that builds and builds and builds. It also primarily focuses on Batman fighting criminals. Mob, gangsters, thugs. None of the other Batman films really give us that.
Batman 1989, Batman Returns, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises
