It's quite adorable how much you curse those stupid idiots. Your courses are pretty amazing, though. I am glad you keep the quality level high even when you post frequently!
I’m living in my automobile and used a propane heater last night for maybe an hour at the most. I woke up with flu-like symptoms but I made it through my day at work and decided to try to go without the heater tonight. I’m feeling better now than I was this morning. If the symptoms subside, is treatment necessary?
Most common cause on board a small plane is by a leaking heater core. The heater core runs on hot gas rather than hot liquid because the engine does not have a dedicated water cooler. Some planes Ive seen have a chemical sticker that when exposed to CO will turn black. Feel the symptoms in flight, turn off the heat and or use supplimental oxygen. And get to lower altitude.
Some people feel like they have a sunburn do to poisoning. I also want to mention if you’re running an ozone generator or UV lights then you could also have this symptom.
Methemoglobin leads to anemic hypoxia( decrease oxygen delivery to tissues) Cyanide leads to histotoxic hypoxia( decrease Oxygen utilization by tissues) CO does both decrease Oxygen delivery to and utilization by tissues ( Anemic and histotoxic hypoxia) CO is double hit
Thank you so much these videos are great! I just have one question: About the fact that in CO poisoning PvO2 is high so we don't have cyanosis, rather a cherry red skin. In methemoglobinemia, MetHb also shifts the Hb-O2 curve to the left, reducing O2 unloading. So logically, PvO2 should be increased. But if that's true, than why do we get cyanosis in methemoglobinemia? In both diseases: SaO2 is decreased, O2 content is decreased, PaO2 is normal. In both we have left shift of Hb-O2 curve. Why does CO give you cherry red skin, and methemoglobinemia give cyanosis?
Simply because CO poisoning causes decrease tissue ability to utilize oxygen by inhibiting cytochrome c oxidase complex which is not the case in methemoglobin Number 2 the CO makes hemoglobin colour red like oxyhemoglobin while in methemoglobin makes colour dark brown

Hi, thanks for the video, actually my sister is one of the victim for carbon monoxide poisoning which had happened on sep of 2015, is there a way for her to recover..?
Question regarding 02 treatment: is it effective because it reduces that half life of CO and can then competitively inhibit it’s binding or does high paO2 result in CO being kicked off of the Hb molecule?
Please solve my querry ive search alot but cdnt get the proper answer ...why is there anemic hypoxia in co poisoning??? Hb is normal and rbc are also normal then why??
🌬🌬 love info. Yrs now I'm dismissed when explaining high blood oxygen levels when sleeping. ( Fitbit) How do I handle? Yrs ago borrowed "baby monitor " yes helped cuzzz I started cigs age 25 till 70 about 10 cigs day. Since I'm an athlete 🙀 with syringomyelia... why cigs. Love you.... lol I'm a stupid??? Lol🌬🌬🥰

Thank you so much 😊
It’s never too late.
Can you please help me by sharing?
🌬🌬🌬 yes very helpful visual. 🌈

The best teacher ever ❤️
Thanks 😊
THIS IS WONDERFUL! .. THANKS DOCTOR!
My pleasure, bro!

Are you still living in your car?
Excellent we need more videos like this🎉
Thank you!

That is an interesting presentation but can patient with only tachycardia and headache but norma pulse oximetry need oxygen therapy?
Doctors usually need pulse co-oximetry (not just pulse oximetry)if they suspect carbon monoxide poisoning.
Thanks🎉🎉

The carbon monoxide death works the same on newer cars too?
He mentioned in the previous video that all cars now have catalytic converters that prevent it from happen.

Can carbon monoxide affect the haemoglobin or it is only affecting the oxygen transport by haemoglobin??????????
Thank you
My pleasure 😇
Well done
Thank you 🙏
Say Doctor are electric stoves also a cause of CO or just gas-lit ones?
If they catch fire 🔥
If you took something like a 2006 diesel 2.0 car and did the same as the boy would you die painlessly if you slept too?
1.6 I mean.
What are ya planning? lol

I survived a Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
what a shame
what were ur symptoms like ?
What happened I did too
Motel 6
Hydrogen Sulfide, can make you stupid, even after co poisoning.
Juvenon, may help recovery by helping what mitochondria are left.
