Can you purchase a battery pump instead of using the clamps to your vehicle battery? I would like to have a pump without having to hook up to a vehicle and is quick and effortless to pump to the 3psi and 10psi required for the floor.
@@ryan-w Hi thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I've never solder anything before, so you say to purchase a drone battery and solder it to the drone battery. It sounds easy enough. I'm sure I can do it or find someone that knows how to. I'm in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Thanks again, great video by the way.
@@bradcreber75 no problem. You will want the replacement connection I will recommend to the airpump to be done professionally. The soldering has to be done 100% So first of all these drone batteries can deliver extremely high amounts of current for their weight, that is why I use them and they also can not be completely discharged otherwise they will just die. So use once or twice at maximum before fully charging again. Also the 3s lipo I will recommend is the right size for what you want to do. Hopefully soon. I am sorry for the delay! I have the footage for the next two videos already on the takacat. I edit when it is poor weather on the weekends. Unfortunately, the weather has been awesome for our autumn. I will try and get the assembly video done this weekend and a usage and opinion video after. Did you have any specific questions you wanted me to answer in the videos Ricki?

Scoprega and Gelert both have rechargeable pump options.

Next video is now up :)
Like it, you have the new transom, how are you finding it? Looking forward to seeing more of your videos on the water.
I use an electric motor and sail kit on my inflatables...
An electric motor would be Ideal for this Inflatable catamaran as it weighs only 24kgs! What sail kit would you recommend Mark?
