Thank you. In my opinion, you have the best tutorials on the web for those of us that have a huge passion for playing but don't read music. I'm a working musician and have used your tutorials several times. I'm totally self taught, been playing for as long as I can remember. As a young kid decades ago, I didn't have the discipline to read music because it was so much easier to play by ear. My class was playing hot crossed buns and Mary had a little lamb, while was playing Jerry Lee Lewis and old Billy Joel tunes by ear. It was great at the time for sure, but I think it held me back a bit. With the advantage of the internet, my technique has improved vastly. Your tutorials are perfect for musicians who play by ear. Thank you sir. Learned many tunes through your lessons. Keep up the good work and thanks again.
Dear PianoJohn113, I´ve probably thanked you already on other part of the Bennie tutorial but, after finnally learning it all, I have to say it again: THANKS! YOU´RE THE MAN! Keep up the GREAT job!
thank you again and again for all your videos, John, you have no idea what a difference they have made to my life and the amount of pleasure and learning I have gained from so many of them. I could write this thank you in any number of comment threads of your various tutorials, I just happen to be writing it in this one. You have improved my life a great deal simply by making these tutorials. I can´t read music and would never have been able to play these songs if it weren´t for you so generously giving your time to make them. You are obviously a very accomplished pianist, however you also have a great talent as a teacher. I find your tutorials to be the best available on youtube, and very thorough and detailed and efficient.
John, last question for Bennie, I promise! Well, two. What is the sequence of chords after the solo? I know he does one more set of the ones you already showed, but when he gets to "Bennie! Bennie! Bennie! Bennie and the Jets" that bit, is it just the same sequence?
