Terrifically pleased, Charlie, to see a test and tour of the latest successor to my model, a 2014 Kia Cadenza Premium (i.e., entry-level) with 26.5k miles on the odo. Although it's not driven daily, its hardships include being parked outside under a couple of humungous trees that shed every botanical substance known to silviculture year-round, but without any discernible damage to the paintwork. In fact, everything in the car has held up fantastically well over 5 years, with only routine dealer servicing and cosmetic cleaning from me required. The 2020 Cadenza looks like it too is made with the same attention to detail. Maybe because I'm a chauvinist about my model, I feel as you do about the rear fascia: the placement of the lights has sacrificed proportion. And the grille is too extreme in relation to the front sheet metal...it's about as subtle as a hay rake. I like the new tech in this Cadenza, though, and it's good to see that Kia is staying ahead or at least abreast of the latest driver assistance technology.

    • @AsianPetrolhead

Glad you like your Cadenza. It is very nice car. And for this facelift they have improved so many parts, it seems like it is another generation rather than a facelift. Thankyou Aufrichtig for tuning in and please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.

Heh Charlie, you're always so calm whenever you drive, even though it seems like you really want to drive every car to it's limits. I have a feeling you would have preferred the car to be rear-wheel drive so you could drift it around those really nice roads you have there in ROK. And yes, I'm a subscriber and I have the notification bell on. Also, I think you should turn off the black boxes so the police don't see you drive with extreme speed like you like to, LOL.

Definitely the best Cadenza to date.
Rear end is awefully Lincoln...if the rear seats aren’t going to be 60/40 split folding then they better be heated AND cooled, otherwise theirs no excuse for not folding. That grill is awesome and I’d love to see those chrome tiger teeth make their way through out the Kia line up, maybe exclusive for SX models.
Nice camera joke! 😂 i think everyone will agree that using the cars integrated camera system for recording just makes sense and should be adopted by more brands.
Seems like the power plant isn’t really as powerful as it could or should be but that’s just what it seems like watching on a screen.

So I bought 2019 Tucson Ultimate instead & very happy with her! The Hyundai Azera in the US is dead. For Kia K7 it may have a chance, exterior and interior is nice, the rear signal and backup light should be full LED lights. For limited edition it should be the 3.3 liter turbo from Stinger.

Asian Petrolhead I visited the Kia factory in Hwasung when we were there a few years back. Quite impressive. We have a 2017 cadenza that comes off lease in May. It’s a good car on the road and gets much better mileage than advertised.( the only vehicle I have ever had that has done that) was hoping to have some around before the lease is up.
