Even though it was a bit of a trial getting it done, it turned out looking fantastic!! I love the purple and the rest of the color combo. It all looks great together! You got your hands full with the shop work and trying to get the RCs knocked out!
@Okpaintguy2 if I could get a new pair of knees I'd be right there with ya. I can work one day and it takes two or three days for the swelling to go down! I have not been kind to them over the years!
Man it's always a great bonus to see that beautiful 1/1 in your videos! I still can't wrap my mind around how you get such great results on those paint jobs. I have tried for years to airbrush my bodies and I seem to mess something up every single time.
I love that yellow 10T you have sitting there on the desk I’ve gotta get one eventually I’m actually gonna do an Og Traxxas rustler project make it race ready i think it’ll be awesome too see rebuild the transmission new grease grease all the bearings and put a new vxl traxxas system in it with race plugs connectors so I hope it’ll turn out nice but I gotta learn my way around paint mask I’ve tried it before on a sc10 body probably shouldn’t have learned the first time with a bigger body shell should’ve went smaller first but awesome looking body man hope too see that yellow 10T soon.
@@GearWorksRc Thanks ! Yeah the yellow truck is next on deck for paint and race prep . I’ve got a couple videos of the restoration. I plan on racing it next month. Yes liquid mask is great but I’m probably sticking with my masking tape on most stuff lol !
@@Okpaintguy2 yea painters just usually say it’s a lot easier to peal away and retape when you make mistakes when I get my Og Rustler I’ll do a rebuild series get some Rpm goodies and paint a racing body for it as well everybody’s doing bandits and rustlers I’m feeling left out lol but yea can’t wait to see it that yellow will be easy to see racing on any track.
Another masterpiece! Looks awesome! I have never used liquid mask. You can more intricate designs cut out with it but I’m not sure I’d enjoy having to cut everything. I’d also be afraid of cutting to deep and watching my body fall apart on the track lol.
Love the dirt oval car can’t wait to see you build then race
@@kylekallies3381 Oh yeah dirt oval is where I grew up . Can’t wait to get this one going .

@ I know what you mean. I’m 30 years in a body shop and concrete floors . Takes a little longer to recoup these days .

@@Nerm78 Thanks ! It’s a process for sure . Just have to keep at it and keep learning . There will be a few 1:1 videos in 25 .
