  • If you are Chocolate Chip cookies lover, you will definitely LOVE this recipe.
    These Brown butter chocolate chip cookies have chewy texture inside and crunchy outside.
    Also I decided to go with Brown Butter for this cookie recipe, because it develops a beautiful nutty, toasty caramel taste. It’s technically an upgraded flavor of chocolate chip cookies.

    This is the very first time that cookies came out the BEST for me. I’ve tried so many recipes for chocolate chip cookies and this one was a total hit.
    The only thing I changed as per reading comments - I used 1/2 tsp salt, 3/4th baking soda and added a 4-5 tbsp extra flour ( the dough from the original recipe was a little too wet)

    This recipe is the bombdiggy. I've tried millions of recipes "literally", this one came out the best in doing what it says it will do. Just that when RUclipsrs give recipes and your measurements, quote them in cups, grams and what have you so that it benefits all and not just one set of people, because I've tried this recipe over and over and over and I never got the results like you did because when I converted 215 grams, I got a wrong conversion of 1 1/2 cups flour and I didn't know, so my cookies were coming out too flat or too hard, I attempted to bake again as we speak and they came out flat again, so to me they just needed an omph of flour, so I checked your description again, and went once more to look up 215 grams flour, I saw one that says 1 3/4 cups flour, I decided to try this one because from experience, it seemed realistic. And now I'm getting results as yours. So it's always best to convert in all cups

      or you could get a weighing scale instead of converting. it's more universal for all countries as there are different measuring cups too..

      1cup is equal to 238g or 250g around US. So if u want to use cups, do the measurements according to the amount that is used in the cup or according to the standard amount used in a cup for the state you are living in.

      Marissa Marissa ok. That mean the wet ingredients are more than dry ingredients. You can put more flour until the cookie dough is in the right shape. Go check again my video to see what is my cookie dough look like.
      When you make brown butter, please make sure that you can notice the specks on the bottom of the pan have lightly browned. Some of the liquid evaporates during the cooking process. Also, different flours absorb different amount of water. Seems like you need to put more flour than the original recipe in order to get in right consistency

    What is this are you trying to confuse us because you forgot to add the eggs into the video and instead of actual measurements you added grams like how are we supposed to know what grams are converted to regular measurements like 1 cup 1 teaspoon etc. and you didn’t even tell us what the measurement of the melted butter was after you put it into the glass cup. (Not trying to be mean im just stating facts)

    • @Rachel42876
      @Rachel42876  3 года назад +15

      Hi there,
      Thanks for your comment. If you are wondering, the eggs were added at 3:05 of the video. The reason that I used grams was because I grew up with this type of measurement and in fact almost the entire world uses it, except for few places. FYI, you can convert the measurements into your regular measurements like cups, via google.
      For the melted butter, I did not measure the actual amount of the melted butter. But if you noticed, I used 226 grams of butter to make the brown butter. This is the right amount of making brown butter for this recipe
