And that "Enemy down" bonus 1 sec later xD. Well in this case he literally went down...
how about the heat action where he stabs someone in the stomach with a knife? Im quite sure that doesnt kill people.
I wish I knew I coulda thrown people off of that balcony. It's a wasted opportunity now
There's a chance he lived. Yoneda survived, maybe there's an airbag down there
There's a mattress at the bottom, he's fine.
Kiryu: im a civilian now.
It was at this moment Kuze knew he fucked up
Hey hey, he actually opened a door without throwing yoneds through it back there!
6:25 perfect sync
I hate how non Yakuza fans think the game is janky, but I love seeing pros like you do footsies and such, like in fighting games. So satisfying. I love how mindless button mashing will get you wasted in this game.
They did an outstanding job with the Tusk piece of OST, its surreal how everytime it syncs so fucking well when Kiryu is slamming doors with them corpses
Kiryu: *in a deep struggle to prove he didn't kill someone*
Also Kiryu: *dropkicks a middle-aged man out if a 3-story window*
he's not beating the S#$t out of out them. He is beating the Yen of out of them
Was proud of myself by making it through the first room, then that QTE came up and I died immediatelu
Anyone else gonna acknowledge how Kiryu straight up finessed Kuze into kicking him out?
The perfect intro to hype up non yakuza fan.
Yoneda is like Duncan MacLeod, a Higlander.. But instead of cutting his head, you have to kick him out trough a window.
What a badass resignation letter.
NANI?!
I was humbled by this first playing it 😭
same, it was so difficult to me for some reason (until i realised you could kill the big sofa guy with one hit)
Girl: *hits me*
Girl: You wouldn't hit a girl would y-
Me: 0:44
Someone: Orders same day shipping at 23:59
Delivery drivers: 9:13
I fell in love with this game during this part.
Yoo fr enjoy this system where you don't have to think or conserve some sort of energy you just do brainless quick high damage combat
Kiryu: *changes room*
Yoneda: I DIDN'T HEAR NO BELL
The game up to this point was a little slow for me, but as soon as it got to this point it started to suck me in. As soon as I saw Kiryu crack his neck before laying the shit on everyone, that's what got me fucking hyped.
Everyone always talks about Majima fighting kiryu everywhere.
Everyone complains that we fight Kuze 15 times over the game.
And yet, nobody talks about how my boy Yoneda received 5 beatings by Kiryu in a row and kept getting up.
I wish I could play this for the first time again. It was such an amazing game full of content and a great story. The combat is so satisfying and fun, even if most of it is fighting the random low ranking enemies.
tusk is such a great track.
0:44 5:10 6:34 7:30 10:25 For Yoneda beatdowns
My favorite thing about this I think is the beginning. Because Kuze has no idea how much he done fucked up messing with Kiryu. Considering his whole career as a yakuza literally goes down the crapper starting right here
As you are probably the best Yakuza player on youtube, I present a challenge - Try this again, Legend difficulty, with the Charismatic Autobiography on...
Easy to imagine this is where the legend of the dragon of dojima started.
„I heard one of dojima‘s guys beat up their entire bureau“
„Why would one of his own guys do that? What‘s his name?“
„No idea but I‘ve heard he has a dragon tattooed on his back“
This mission has been one of my best gaming experiences ever. I remember being so amazed by this.
Kiryu: by the time i beat the shit out of them, i already earned 12million yen
Yakuza kiwami 1 fue mi primer Yakuza y lo ame ahora estoy jugando el kiwami 2 pero el sistema del combate del 1 me gusto mucho mas veo que el 0 tiene un sistema similar al 1 lo recomiendan?
10:22 THOUGHT I WAS DEAD YET I CAN- DO THIS FOREVER!
I do miss how money flies out as you bash people's head in. No wonder people were stupid rich in Japan's 80s. You could sneeze and money would be all over the floor.
This battle and the theme song just goes so HARD. This made me IMMEDIATELY sold on the Yaluza franchise right after Kiryu went berserk after the Donita Family. I became a crazy Yakuza games' fan and the rest is history.
t u s k is a fucking banger.
11:40 Oh damn! 😂
11:46 Oh nice! 👍
11:49 HOLY FCKING SHIT! 💯
This is when I realized how awesome this game truly is ❤️
I remember first time playing this, I died few times cos I didn’t know how to use the stamina drinks
0:19 "...camicioni mutande!?"
Imagine from their perspective, this grunt just became a boss fight you can’t escape from. You just hear people screaming downstairs and then silence only for the crazed maniac to crash through the window and attack you while you are peeing.
This was the greatest opening chapter to any game I've played in a LOOOOONG time. Just started the game over the weekend, and it is AWESOME. Reminds me so much of what Shenmue was going for, back in the dreamcast days.
Even has the same kind of virtua fighter fighting mechanic.
Doing this long battle and Kuze on legend with no heals took me like 20 tries
Kiryu is one of my favorite video game protagonists. this is just simply BADASS
if only earning money was this easy in the later yakuza games
