The best and big thing with buying and selling cars any cars old new, cheap or expensive, main thing is trust and honesty because that's what will make you and your trade succeed telling the truth to the buyer can make them happy and also they'll know what they buying and decide if they want it or not but never lie or hide somthing speacilly somthing major like any issues with engine or gearbox, and if you are selling cars around 1k-1.5k Mark to make small profits that's fine as long as you don't buy somthing you never cheaked and think you gonna make money selling it when it might have hidden issues, I would suggest invest in a 50 to 100 quid diagnostic tool for to be used on any cars, cheap hpi, try to get somthing with low owners I would say max 4 owners as 6 or 10 owners puts off people not that they are bad cars, but just do it with your clean heart and you'll get were you want to be if you gonna rip off someone or be doggy and think money is only thing and forget that you wouldn't want a car that was bad or had major hidden issues it goes same for others just be real and genuine.

Great video really enjoy watching stuff like this people showing how to start off because I’d love to get into doing this just don’t know how 🙄, but if criticism if you could or are planning to do this again can you include like a screen recording of where you buy how you find cars and then what type of cars you look for like you said bmw and Audi are expensive for parts and lastly could you maybe show us how you get the car or what you do to transport it from the collection to your yard because I don’t have trade plates to move a car and every recovery wants £80 starting. Other than that I’m really enjoying watching your content right now

I'm looking to start flipping the odd motor to start with. Always had an eye for detail and being OCD helps ;) what would you recommend as a first car to flip? Small hatch motors like polo's and corsa's seem to be the status quo. Also, any tips for buying a little decent one (I.E. Where from etc). I'm in the north west of the UK. Hi, im also thinking to do this from home buy and sell cars, I've sold 3 cars over last 2 years but those were my personal cars, did made some profit from them but noting major just like 200 quid or so, but now I want to start selling as part time maybe 1 to 2 cars at a time as I haven't got much space, also do I need any dealer licence, and trade insurance, also on how much profits do I pay tax for year not sure on those things yet.

    • @jamesjakeman1
      @jamesjakeman1  3 года назад

If your buying from auctions you just need an account with the auction house.
You will need to declare your tax on profits made the same in any business self-employed.
Trade insurance is a few thousand a year so wouldn't waste your time, take out temp insurance and write it off your business cost.

Your getting the decent folk Down
And letting your self down mate))
People this day and age can’t afford to be taken for a ride with cowboys like ya
Go legal with your deals and people will like and deal with you))
Stop taking & making money off the back of the poor people who trusted you in the first place)))
You will have better luck if you do the right thing and don’t let the people down anymore than they all ready are
How could you take their money and not give them anything back)))

You honestly don't know me or how I work. I have never sold a vehicle that was not fully trusted by my self.
I drive every car I sell for at least a week
I am friends with so many people I have sold cars and they even follow the channel.
I don't know why you see fit to call me out when you have no idea what I do.
I try my hardest to provide good cheap cars yes I understand they might not have alot of money that's why is so important I save the good little runners so people can have reliable transport.
Honestly you have really really annoyed me as you have no idea what I do. The last car I sold I made 70 as I did all mot advisories, and fixed the car up to a really good standard so please do me massive favor and go troll someone that deserves it

Plenty of dishonest blokes out there selling scrap that they’ve T-cut and hoovered. Don’t last 5 minutes because they don’t have long term thinking.
Going about it the right way is the only sustainable way. That cheap runaround you sold today but you know is decent will hopefully return a customer in 2,3,5 years time that wants something a bit pricier and wants to put their money into someone they can trust.
    Decent Focus that too.
