The best and big thing with buying and selling cars any cars old new, cheap or expensive, main thing is trust and honesty because that's what will make you and your trade succeed telling the truth to the buyer can make them happy and also they'll know what they buying and decide if they want it or not but never lie or hide somthing speacilly somthing major like any issues with engine or gearbox, and if you are selling cars around 1k-1.5k Mark to make small profits that's fine as long as you don't buy somthing you never cheaked and think you gonna make money selling it when it might have hidden issues, I would suggest invest in a 50 to 100 quid diagnostic tool for to be used on any cars, cheap hpi, try to get somthing with low owners I would say max 4 owners as 6 or 10 owners puts off people not that they are bad cars, but just do it with your clean heart and you'll get were you want to be if you gonna rip off someone or be doggy and think money is only thing and forget that you wouldn't want a car that was bad or had major hidden issues it goes same for others just be real and genuine.
Didn't talk about trade plates, the registration process, ie whether you register in your name, insurance, tax ect... These along are a big part of the process if you are looking to sell multiple cars!

Great video really enjoy watching stuff like this people showing how to start off because I’d love to get into doing this just don’t know how 🙄, but if criticism if you could or are planning to do this again can you include like a screen recording of where you buy how you find cars and then what type of cars you look for like you said bmw and Audi are expensive for parts and lastly could you maybe show us how you get the car or what you do to transport it from the collection to your yard because I don’t have trade plates to move a car and every recovery wants £80 starting. I'm looking to start flipping the odd motor to start with. Always had an eye for detail and being OCD helps ;) what would you recommend as a first car to flip? Small hatch motors like polo's and corsa's seem to be the status quo. Also, any tips for buying a little decent one (I.E. Where from etc). I'm in the north west of the UK. Mate that's a steal for £300, I got rushed into buying a dog of a mk2 diesel recently and kicked myself ever since. From a buyers perspective, if I have £2k for a car that will include anything it may need (belts, clutch etc) so I may only end up looking for a £1.2k motor. I love a mk1 though and would've been happy with a grand on that one regardless of belt etc
How'd you go about getting insurance to drive any car as a dealer, thats what I have always found to be the killer, to get it you then have to prove that you have turned over a certain number of cars each year. Any one you would recommend.

The hardest part will be buying cars, buy wrong and you can loose money very quickly. This year we have had 4 cars that were total loss losing around 10k so buying the right cars is my best advice. Hi, im also thinking to do this from home buy and sell cars, I've sold 3 cars over last 2 years but those were my personal cars, did made some profit from them but noting major just like 200 quid or so, but now I want to start selling as part time maybe 1 to 2 cars at a time as I haven't got much space, also do I need any dealer licence, and trade insurance, also on how much profits do I pay tax for year not sure on those things yet.
If your buying from auctions you just need an account with the auction house. You will need to declare your tax on profits made the same in any business self-employed. Trade insurance is a few thousand a year so wouldn't waste your time, take out temp insurance and write it off your business cost.

How do you handle the insurance for doing this? I get fed up temp insuring stuff it's £25 a pop every time I need to run it about. I only do a couple a month though and £2500 for motor trade seems nuts haha

@@flippingcarsrepairs usually I get quoted about £18-20 an hour £27-32 for a day. No points and had my licence 10+ years. On a positive I just discovered Cuvva and they only seem to charged £8-9 for around 6 hours and £20 a day so I'll try them next

This was a right hand drive. Not many left hand drives in the UK so carnt say what there like to sell but everything has a sale price if you can buy at the right price there is a profit

There are so many deals out there. Is it hard yes. If it was easy everyone would be doing it. Best practice is get in with a few dealers and buy off them. Search Autotrader, Gumtree, carguru, Facebook, motors ,pistonheads, ebay, yes it's long but there are cars you can make a profit on. Once auctions re open to public worth a bid on a asuerd car. Put a post on your social media letting family and friends know your looking for cars. Right now dealership are overpaying on stock as limited second hand cars coming for sale but give it 6 months and it will settle

You honestly don't know me or how I work. I have never sold a vehicle that was not fully trusted by my self. I drive every car I sell for at least a week I am friends with so many people I have sold cars and they even follow the channel. I don't know why you see fit to call me out when you have no idea what I do. I try my hardest to provide good cheap cars yes I understand they might not have alot of money that's why is so important I save the good little runners so people can have reliable transport. Honestly you have really really annoyed me as you have no idea what I do. The last car I sold I made 70 as I did all mot advisories, and fixed the car up to a really good standard so please do me massive favor and go troll someone that deserves it
Plenty of dishonest blokes out there selling scrap that they’ve T-cut and hoovered. Don’t last 5 minutes because they don’t have long term thinking. Going about it the right way is the only sustainable way. That cheap runaround you sold today but you know is decent will hopefully return a customer in 2,3,5 years time that wants something a bit pricier and wants to put their money into someone they can trust. Decent Focus that too.

I would get trade insurance yet its expensive and you can get 1 day insurance for £20.

Ye thats true but depends on your price range again 1500 cars people expect a few more owners with age so again not essential. When starting out.

There's an app total car check you pay monthly free. Check as meany as you wish also gives you information about when car was last up for sale.

Why does the seller not sell the car on ebay or gumtree for 1000. Instead of sell car for 300 to you 🤔

There are 3 ways.
Trade insurance
1 days insurance you drive it.
Inform the customer they must show insurance if they wish to test drive.
