Seems the hottest May on record in the UK, still goes on... Great job, Jimmy! Funny note: The reason there are so many diesels in Europe is because the EU decided to push them, to please European oil refineries. And now, they started tightening the specs on Diesel cars to "cure" the problem they created with all the diesel incentives and the propaganda of less CO2 than gasoline engines. All done at the expense of the car owners. And CO2 is not even a problem!
Great video once again. Ive been trying to say to owners of Ingenium engined Jaguars that they need to do exactly what you’ve done on this car, but many still insist that the cure is to drain the adblue tank and refill with adblue bought from the Jaguar parts department only. In future, I will point them in the direction of this excellent video.
Education education education that is what’s needed for anyone who has a modern diesel engine. Your channel is providing that and I would encourage anyone who has a diesel especially euro 5 or 6. I educate myself every time I watch your videos well done. Question about refilling the adblue tank. I’ve always filled the tank to the brim I hate it when it overflows but should I just be topping it up and not overfill it? Up to now I’ve never had any issues.
Would still avoid Ingenium engine but this owner obviously looking after it and using in ideal conditions. Could have blown up in the last few months as seem to around 7 years old but you’ll never know. Hope Freelander going well Jimmy. My Dad on his third.
Great video mate. Thanks for sharing 👍You are a far better man than I will ever be if a customer ever brought me a vehicle to diagnose with a fuel light on I would tell them to11 Golf, Tango,Foxtrot!!! 😡
Hello love watching your videos the big issue is what you are saying about Adblue. My problem is that you keep mensioning about toping up adblue. The problem I have is adblue has a shelf life date. If you keep topping up the adblue and if you keep doing that then you probably have old ablue in your tank that could be 2 to 3 years old so by that time it's crystaling. Would it not be a good idea to drain all the adblue when needing to refill with up to date adblue ??
Jimmy. I got the dpf launch cleaner fluid. Mixed a 50/50 solution and sprayed in my dpf via a cheap air spray gun. Its had no effects to my readings. Do you recommend the launch gun instead as I'm not convinced mine foamed up at all. Still reads exhaust back pressure at 260hpa at 3000rpm. Bmw 3 series n47 engine. I'm guessing no foam in not effective. I've ordered a exhaust back pressure sensor Incase of wrong reading.
Well done Jimmy, another customer dodged the parts cannon!! I wonder if anyone has priced a diesel v petrol not just fuel costs but all this other stuff Jimmy does?

Don't need a gauge for adblue. It tells you when it low and gives you several hundred miles warning. Customer just to lazy to top it up in this case and now it's cost him to call you out
Same code pop up, when customer fill adblue tank with diesel or any other liquid.... I have found in adblue tank washer fluid and diesel. Without testing adblue liquid its not really good video

No... All a result of our stupid governments agreeing to be party to this bullshit. We got a brand new digger in work. 2021 wi V6 scania engine. Common rail obviously... But... No egr. No dpf. No ad blu. No problems!
Your teaching is far better than most of the lecturers I had a college. Thanks Jimmy.
Great to hear!

Hi jimmy, thanks for taking the time to do the video, great info
Glad it was helpful!

I did not know about this add blue cristalisation issue very interesting video thanks again Jimmy
Jimmy, how on earth do you stay calm when dealing with clowns like this? Excellent video as usual, thanks👍🏻

You should post a card in the door of that black one down the road, they will need you soon also haha.
Great job 👍

Why do Range Rover owners not put fuel or adblue into their cars or service them. Fur coat and no drawers spring to mind!!
Lights are on but no one at home.
Same type of people that think the red oil can light means the engine needs a top up of oil
Paying so much finance for the car , cant afford anything else
10 pence millionaire's
Yeah kippers and curtains spring to mind as well
Wish you were in Sydney! The 2016 generation of Evoques is causing major probs for owners!
I also wish I was in Sydney

My pleasure
Nice work buddy! You ever had a split egr pipe causing high nox gasses? Had that on a vw transporter 2018!
Please show us How to reset the service required in the dashboard
Hi thanks for video. Lots of usefull information.
🔥🔥🔥
You need to get a micro camera to show us more inside the dpf bud
hey jimmy, what nozzle is on your dpf gun mine is plastic and broken but yours looks metal and a lot stronger
Jimmy, try to recomend to the customers to use an adblue anti crystalisation aditive or the new clearnox adblue that doesn't crystalize any more.
Obviously look after this car. Ran out of adblu, brake pad light on and no fuel when you get there. Unreal levels of user neglect.
Don't need a gauge for adblue. It tells you when it low and gives you several hundred miles warning. Customer just to lazy to top it up in this case and now it's cost him to call you out
You’re already in trouble when the light comes on and say 700 miles left that’s the point on every engine with adblue system
Not diluting the Launch fluid this time?

I watched all the way to the end, hoping that one of the restarts would fail because the owner couldn't afford diesel.

Magic JIMMY! These cars' are a disgrace!!!
No Jimmy that is a black Honda
DPF's and Add Blue are an absolute pain in the backside. Utter waste of time and money!
Obviously being run on a budget😅
Hey jim can you change your ring tone as when it goes off it sends me looking for my phone as im watching your great vids. lol
Might be easier to change own ringtone maybe 🤔
Just buy petrols
They have now started putting particulate filters on petroleum cars now. Fortunately they’re much easier to clear than on a diesel model
