Intro Song : Ari Lenox BMO Covered By John Devinci / devinci-x-joey-ellz-ge...
Does anyone else get emotional listening to bigger and find your way back!? Every time I hear it I get overwhelmed with happiness to the point where I want to cry!
Yassss.... We are starting to remember.
JustVerina ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I listen to bigger when I do my affirmations in the morning
Bigger does it to me every time I find myself singing it to myself and getting emotional when I think what is this legacy I’m building how am I honoring my ancestors because yes I’m part of something bigger def opened my mind
Same 🥺🥺
Lol people think Beyoncé went to Cuba just to be a tourist. Lol...nah, she’s been walking this path for a minute, this is the culmination of her workings. Spirit moving y’all❣️
Same Madonna and jlo. Also in miAmi they have those Babalawao santeras
What the spirit of Beelzebub!?
@@rosiieislovehere y’all go.. 🌚🌝🙄
I feel like the 1st song "Bigger", takes place in the "Ancestorial plane". Where the Orshia's are preparing HIS soul to come to Earth. There he is blessed, and chosen by his Orshia, spirit guide, and lastly he is introduced to his Ancestors (bloodline), before he comes to Earth as a Asteroid. I dont feel like this was the story of the Lion King at all. I feel like this is a story of your spiritual journey on Earth... The 2nd Song "Find your way Back" Is simply about you finding your way back to the love of Ifa. Since you forget nearly everything you learn from the "Ancestorial plane" this song is telling you to find your way back.. the Video also shows the same deities (His Orshia, Spirit Guide, and Ancestors) from the 1st song Bigger ( Ancestorial plane) in the sky behind him..
So the blue/green man is his spirit guide or orisha?
This was my interpretation also. I loved how she showed the various Orishas. As well as the connection between astral plane and the earthly
Hmmm that’s a good point ! I didn’t even think about that . And after he was sent to earth ! I like it !
@@Disneyqueen1973 to me he's a spirit guide
Jerronimo287 so is Beyoncé a spirit guide too? There’s that scene where young Simba is in the back seat of the car, and I’m assuming it’s an ancestor driving the car? And they pass Beyoncé and the guy on the road. She’s in red. I don’t get that part.
I peeped that background immediately🔥
Love!🔥 Now, Beyonce's 'Black Is King' visual album is rich in symbolism and culture and she put a lot of work into it. True artist! The way you break it down is pure gold. Thanks for sharing your knowledge ❤️❤️ Asé!
Awww Thank You !!
So a lot of people see the basket in the water as Moses symbolism. However when she put the baby in the River to me it symbolized her entrusting her child to Oshun to look after because she could no longer do it.
Yesss ! That’s a good point !
Yasssss 💙💙💙
What is oshun
@@amahmamman4301 Not what is oshun , who is oshun
@@annmariebocage7388 ok soo who is oshun
As far as the kids view... i have 2 girls 6 and 1 years old. It made me feel so good when my 6 year old said "mommy they are so pretty, everything is so pretty" it made my heart melt. kids do pay attention and the thing they watch do mold them. My 1 year old sat down and did not move the whole movie. It is very important for my babies to see people the same color as them doing something so cool and amazing.
In the Mood scene where they were being served by white people, I love how she had the 3 servants (that were standing next to the butler) dressed in Adidas Tracksuits, whilst all the Africans were dressed in traditional attire. That spoke volumes to me, almost like she was saying their clothing is primitive and only worthy of lower class people, as opposed to our traditional African clothing, which is worthy of only the rich and wealthy...
Catch!!!!
your username I love it
Symbolism drip 💧
Destiny Stark thank you!
Meanwhile she has a collection at adidas (that I waited in line 5 hours for lmao... I really am a peasant)
That’s not a full moon, it’s a waxing crescent moon! Promotes new beginnings, new endeavors, shifting from new to full as though it’s gaining strength, becoming whole again...this phase of the moon promotes healing...(moon witch)
It may represent the 2020 ! New Beginnings!
Yes queen my first time seeing a black queen speaking our truth merkabah ☯️ ✊🏾🖤 please continue to teach us more thank you 🙏🏾
I was Waiting for this!🙌🏽
Also the peacock opening it’s feathers was a nod to Oshun. Beyonce was paying tribute to her Orisha.
I was waiting for someone to pick up on that too. I smiled so hard the moment I saw the peacock.
KyaneTiger Right! I was like “wow Beyonce getting bold” lol
@@monroerodriguez What an ignorant comment. Peacocks are widely domesticated as pets in Nigeria. They are highly regarded in Yoruba culture for their beauty. There is a saying that goes "ade ori okin ko le se deede ori eyekeye" meaning the crown of the peacock cannot adorn the head of any other bird.
@@monroerodriguez 😂off the mic
@@monroerodriguez it's a false god
The infinite circle is also saying that energy never dies it is transfered. The body dies but the soul doesn't.
The animal cow print also depicts Hathor the cow headed Kemetic/Egyptian Goddess
Omg i saw i pic where they put tarot cards ( the devil card) next to her with the animal cow print. I was so mad.. But then again people are still sleep. I had to say something. 😒
Yes they are asleep putting her in the cow horns next to baphomet I got upset to...
@Jennifer Rivera Yessss exactly!!
Mz. Royal right sis didn’t even match I was omg they just don’t know do they
Hathor is not a goddess she is a neter which is different true concept of a god.
This video is so needed! You touched so many important points within the first 4 minutes because I’ve been arguing on Twitter with native Africans that just don’t get it and for some odd reason think we believe Wakanda is real! 😤
Reina De corazones - that we as African Americans see more than monarchies. We KNOW the difference between reality and fantasy and we chose to view African in a positive light. I was told that we don’t know about African history, politics, can’t name African countries, think Wakanda is real, and all of that because we romanticize African monarchies. 🤷🏽♀️ I get it because I am African American. It’s a weird position to be in when the people of this country and Africa often have negative opinions of you.
Reina De corazones but, on the other side of that, a lot of continental Africans are really ignorant about the diaspora, and especially ignorant about the ways in which our ancestors held onto their African identity and culture. So many continental Africans believe we “know nothing about Africa”, and they themselves know nothing about the African slaves who built whole African villages in America lol, they don’t know about the MANY “back to Africa” movements we have held, they don’t know that Ifa religion is one of the biggest religions outside of the big 3 in the diaspora & that’s with centuries of disconnect between the continent and the diaspora. There’s a lot of ignorance on both sides lol.
Egyptian God Asuar (osiris) is also that color bluish green. Egyptian Mother Goddess Hathor has horns and a Halo sometimes she is depicted as a cow. Beyonce did her thing with this. She sparked us to want to find out Who we are
Great perspective. I see that color plays a major role in the African culture from a variety of aspects. From protecting to channeling different energies.
False god
@@blaquewitchyaya that's called with craft witch is from satan.
She is showing you the paganism of our ancestors this is nothing to be celebrated that is why we will always stay in bondage. She is celebrating the gods of the Egyptians that enslaved gods people for over 400 years. If you think this is homage you have no idea who we truly are
@@TopHat_VR828 your saying the lady that made this video is against this ?
This was good, you skipped so much. At about 15:28 in the film. You see the boy is lost. He walked into the warehouse passing a boy wearing the cross on his jacket, the man in WHITE wearing a snake, asking him was he lost or scared, the boy fell under the devils spell in distraction before being surrounded by “demons”’and runs away, and that introduced the song that started, “the the jungle there is no bible”. It’s said Africans once had land, rich resources and wealth, then the white man came with a bible and when the white man was done he had land, rich resources, and wealth.. the Africans had the Bible. The film has a lot of symbolism from the Orisha and Yoruba practices, but the overall message from that film to me was you’ve been lied too, hoodwinked and bamboozled, that the colonizers have tricked you and that the Bible was flawed and not a reflection of our true selves and she showed us our true reflections while also trying to spark curiosity while giving people of the practice goose bumps ...we were going to notice it all. She’s telling people to find their way back to their roots, she knew this would stir us up. Because you know you’re that bitch when you cause all this conversation. Ase!
I felt nothing but goosebumps while watching BLACK IS KING.
Wow. This is amazing. Thank you for this!
This is EXACTLY the symbolism and message I got whilst watching this. Fantastic breakdown ✊🏿
THISSSSS‼👏🏾
And then they pray to our gods as for us blacks pray to their false god. WAKE UP
I absolutely LOVED every single minute
The blue you referenced, reminded me of what I learned about the Dogon people of Africa - who believe that their very far ancestors are "extraterrestrials" - basically, humanoid beings like us who had enhanced abilities, including mental and intellectual prowess that humans don't currently have, hence why they were perceived as Gods. They came from another star system i.e. Sirius. They were thought to have blue skin. There is also a nod to this, at the beginning of the film, when they displayed the ancestors in the sky - this is no coincidence.
Also, the boy falling to earth like a comet, if you know the story of Superman that's how he landed on earth as a child, but again this is another fabrication where our stories were taken from us and given a different face. The symbolism of the boy plummeting to earth is saying who we are, even transcends the realm of this earth. And though we are Gods, just like our ancestors - our journeys will begin in tragic ignorance and our quest remains to find our way back to the truth.
The idea of "remembering" is because the knowledge of who we truly are, was cruelly hidden from us and we were given different truths which worked to suppress and repress our innate gifts i.e. our real birthright.
There are many other symbolisms related even deeper still to ancient Sumerian and Mesopotamian mythologies, but that's the overt aspect. She's basically giving some real gems in the video. Those willing to learn will look beyond the aesthetic and do the research to uncover it.
Queen_Kim-a-lee This is a great analysis!!!🧡
This was homage to the Dogon people who were the true pioneers of Celestial findings .
ALL FACTS!
The funny thing is the dogon belief and Remetch belief system are very similar. Actually, most indigenous African spiritually are the same. There stories express the big bang, cell division, ma'at, and the root of the Abrahamic religions.
Celestial is the first thing that came to mind when I saw the image but your comment just educated me on the Dogone tribe.
Blue skin usually represents God in man form like Dr Manhattan on The Watchers, the genie of Alladen, Ausar etc
@@monroerodriguez way out there
That’s immediately what I thought of. Also blue gods and goddesses from India
@@monroerodriguez Where can I read more on this green being, please?
What? 🤣 none of those examples represent Yahweh. Read Genesis 1:26. God made humans in HIS IMAGE. So we obviously look like him.
In African culture the paint was used in occult practices. It is no way representing God but demons
Why don't you do a part 2? To know more about the symbolism in the video helps to better understand and appreciate it.

Thanks so much for this. I am learning so much for you. When Beyoncé first released My Power on RUclips, I commented that I was just starting to learn about the Orishas, I have only been learning from your channel so far. Beyoncé (or probably her social media manager) actually liked my comment! For some reason the video was deleted then uploaded again. It may be because the quality or something. I should have taken a screenshot. Anyways I wanted to extend the props to you. I'm learning so much from your channel. I've always been drawn to water and the color blue. From New Orleans to Miami, I always want to be near the water. Maybe we are both children of Yemaya. I still haven't found my Orisha as my journey is just beginning. Anyways, Ashe!
Beyoncé is actually known to go through RUclips. She may have been the one who liked the comment. 🤷🏿♂️

God Is Full Of Grace
Grace can be a tough concept to grasp. God is often described as gracious, but what does that mean for us? We sing about it, we read about it, and we talk about it. But do we understand it?
Many of us operate under the assumption that God’s grace is like human grace - imperfect, exchange-based, reactive, and subject to change. We feel the pressure to earn grace, and we have an enemy who wants to keep it that way.
Grace is a gift, purchased by Jesus’ death on the cross and given to us freely out of God’s love for us.
But the Bible is clear that grace is a gift, purchased by Jesus’ death on the cross and given to us freely out of God’s love for us. God’s grace, His undeserved favor, is not a reward for human effort. God’s grace is based entirely on who He is and who we are in Him.
God gives us grace because He wants to. By grace, we are adopted into His family, our debts paid and our sin forgiven. It is His pleasure and will to give us these things when we put our faith in Jesus.
No one can take away or lessen the power of this supernatural exchange. When we truly experience God’s grace, we cannot help but be drawn to the One who gives it to us. We worry less about messing up and focus more on getting to know the God who loves us that much.
What if we stopped exhausting ourselves trying to earn God’s favor and simply asked Him to help us see and receive what is already ours to rest in? How different would life be?
Reflect:
Where in your life do you struggle to receive grace?
Do you find it hard to give others grace? Ask God to help you view others’ shortcomings the same way He does.
Do you feel truly adopted, redeemed, and forgiven? If not, ask God for faith to accept these free gifts He wants to give you.
From the reading plan: What is God Like?

When I saw the portrait of Childish Gambino in the "Mood Forever" scene, I literally said to myself "This is America", lol. To me, The Lion King beautifully describes the journey of Blacks to (and in) America. I LOVE Beyonce's retelling. "Black is King" is Beyonce's message for Black people to "find" the "way back" - SPIRITUALLY, mentally, and emotionally. I began studying African spirituality not long before the video was released, and got goosebumps when seeing all of the symbolism and imagery represented in the film. I realize that I have much to learn. Honestly, I think there could be a whole college course dedicated to this music video!
- SPIRITUALLY, ..., ..., & PHYSICALLY!

You look so beautiful love the background we are all Beyonce fans so we no you will bring the spiritual and Symbolism Break Down great job thank you.
When i saw Black Is King i was so amazed to see the Rich Culture, The Kings and Queens. The Nile River which was a source of Life for the Egyptians. Beyonce portraying Moses's mother Yochabel. And The Yoruba Goddess Oshun. The Stars and Kings of the Past. The Boy and Girl who represents Simba and Nala, Mufasa saying we are all connected in the Circle of Life. And all of us Afrikans we are Royalty and we have a Rich History and Culture. I also loved the scene with those kids Who are the Suri and Mursi tribe. With the Flowers and the Leaves in their hair. Every Afrikan Man and Woman are Kings and Queens. I mostly loved the part where i See a Peacock opening it's Beautiful Feathers. I have a Loving and Spiritual Connection to the bird. I know that Peacocks symbolize, Vision, Royalty, Spirituality, Awakening, Guidance, Protection and Watchfulness. When ever i see Peacocks and think of them i feel this warm sensation of Peace and Love as if they warm my Soul. I also loved the part where Beyonce said to God we Belong. As well as that Royal Afrikan Wedding and Those Beautiful Afrikan Women and Girls. When i saw Lupita N'yong'o i was very happy to see her. I also believe that Beyonce is the Reincarnation of the Goddess Oshun. The scene with the flower house built by the Himba Tribe Women was cool. The Beginning scene with her baby was beautiful and those other women with there kids. I Loved the ending where to Afrikan King and Queen was reunited with there children which resembles all Afrikans returning home to Afrika and discovering their Heritage,Culture, Language and Spiritual Self. And I'm Proud to be Afrikan.
I thought the blue man was like a spirit guide
I looked at the blue man as a king spirit. Remember in lion king, the kings before him was all in a tree.
Same
It was said that the FIRST man was green and then transformed into being copper toned dark skin because of our environment. 💚💚🐍🐍🐍
Hmmm I did hear about that . I would love to learn more
That makes sense, our blood/veins are blue/green until mixed with oxygen....
Also moving into mood forever he was dreaming. So when he lays down under the tree, it opens up with him driving past his Ori I’m assuming and the blue man. Driving on he switches to Jay Z. It definitely was an ode to black wealth but also the obliviousness that happens when you just chase wealth or (Capitalism) at the end of the movie it explains what you should be doing with that Wealth. It’s for the community not just you. About halfway through the mood 4 Eva video you see Beyoncé looking at the book and Jay z playing chess. Then his breakdown of choices while playing Human chess. “It’s about light and dark”. Showing that money is not the root of all Evil but what you choose to do with it.
Xx Xx it was available in Africa on TV FOR FREE!!!! Sooooo ...as Disney + is not available in all of Africa
I love what you typed in the end

The moon in the beginning phases FOR ME it represented the NEW moon as its more so translucent...the moon phases increase as the visual goes on and because you start to see the light AND she was hinting at this upcoming full moon you have to catch it but 083 appeared a few times throught...the full moon in aquarius is is today August 3rd and it is significant because it solidifies the AGE OF AQUARIUS. This is such a good video!! I've been extremely drawn to my African roots and the Yoruba practice in general lately, Your videos have been super informative and i've been able to learn a lot from it so I definitely appreciate your content. :) Im not entirely clear on this, but is this practice part of (or is) hoodoo/Santeria? I honestly think the Otherside could also be about her miscarriages that she had before all of her kids and the singing, “Mababu Katika Mawingu” which is ancestors in the clouds, could show that the babies are going to heaven with God and his angles. It’s a guess 😭❤️ the singing is Swahili also
Unaingea Kiswahili? ❤️
That is very valid point
@Nate Dogg she wasn't on the island
This is exactly what I felt in my spirit like she was in the afterlife with all her unborn babies. Full of love and when she picked up the baby from the basket it was a beautiful reuniting of souls
The thing on the car covered in palm fibers doesn't necessarily represent one particular Yoruba orisha. Look up west African masquerades. They show up in different African countries and typically represent ancestral spirits. In that scene I believe it represents the spirit of his father (which is why it is covered in blood) trying to remind Simba not to forget...There are other African spiritual systems outside of the Yoruba culture and Egypt.
Greetings Beautiful Blaque Witch YaYa! I love your videos! I watched this one particularl to find out more about the the bluish-Green color you described as Haint (not sure how to spell, hopefully that’s close 🤷🏾♀️😅) thank you 🙏🏾 while listening to you reference MAMA Kali I reasoned this color is worn in times of battle. Especially During and After! The color is symbolic of the destruction of our enemies and the revelation of us being raised as Kings, Lords, Gods or the children of Such! Kali is a protector only seen as evil by those seeking to cause harm to the innocent or to challenge the rightful rulers of a powerful throne!
When I saw the horns and the cow pattern it reminded me of the Egyptian/kemet goddess call Hathor which was represented as a woman with horns and also as a cow.
It could be the case as she goes real deep into our old beliefs and Hathor I think has the moon or the sun in between her horns.
I might not be right but I had a strong feeling about it.

It’s interesting you said Power was Shango...I was thinking Oya, especially with the women warriors.
I thought Oya too! I thought Shango with the man in the python because when the boy is in the forest the motorcycles are all in red and there was lightening. And the song playing was so arrogant and cocky. I was like "Oh, I'm getting Shango vibes" especially with the woman dancing in the red dress. I thought she was repping Oya as well.
I felt oya here too! I Even felt her in already! Like align already wake up change your mental and circumstances you oya will wake up that change in your life real quick 😂
Agreed. Already was definitely an Oyá song. As well as, "Power" with the red and female warrior energy. Also when she says, "This that rhythm, this that lightning, this that burn, this ain't no perm. This that nappy this that urb'. This that Kinfolk this that skinfolk, this that war! This that bloodline on the front line ready for war! Where you gon run!?" I felt all of Oyá and Shango with that lightning and thunder in unison.

She is saying the ancestors are waiting . Something of this not an exact quote but close. I looked it up yrs ago.
She sounds so beautiful speaking Swahili .
With Beyoncé and the dancers in the crescent moon outfits, the shapes they’re making is important. I don’t know what they mean/represent. But I felt it was important
It's interesting how people want to call African spiritual systems pagan, but Christianity and the holidays that are celebrated have pagan roots....

Demonology is getting praised and she literally exposing her worship towards deities and you’re eating it up?? 👀☕️ Direct slap to the true gods face.
These “gods” had people sacrifice their own children smh.
Are saying the culture that Beyoncé is representing which is African culture evil ? I am not understanding what your saying?
Kiana Frederick Her focus on this project was to show the“spiritual” imagery and symbolism that has stemmed from Egypt, in Africa; specifically Babylon and it’s spreading and glorifying false idols. Being African isn’t evil, but what she’s representing is. Mainstream artists, especially big ones are used as puppets to spread a dark message and people either know and ignore the fact that they’re worshiping false deities and really believe they have any sort of power. They’re actually powerless against the true god Yahweh, or they don’t know they are worshipping false idols but supporting it anyway because it comes from the people they look up to and trust they’re spreading truth.
My mother was given a Kali portrait by an Indian family, we hung it in the living room, everybody loved it. It disappeared and we don't even know what happened to it after. I still believe that it protected us though
