Especially in today’s era when differing practices and religious beliefs are under the microscope of scrutiny. It’s best to blend in and make your moves silently. Wooh! Story time! I used to tell my “best friend” that I was applying to jobs because I was manifesting a high income job and I realized I wasn’t getting jobs I was overqualified for. I didn’t say anything about my current job to her until I got it and when I told her she almost sounded disappointed. So now I don’t tell anyone about anything that I am really trying to make happen.
It sucks because naturally you wish you can share your journey with your “friends”. I’ve been a loner since I was a child and have learned that people come and go. It is what it is. Now as an adult I keep everything silent. There have even been moments when I wanted to share something and spirit will almost cover my mouth like ‘mm-mm’.
Chyeeeeeeee! That word “friend” has to be used sparingly in this journey. SMH But like a snake in the grass, eventually they lift their head. The sad part is they have a lot of MESS they should be dealing with instead of being MESSY! Thanks for sharing because I notice a big difference when I keep things to myself. Yes ma'am all of this is true. Not only that, you have to be careful with sharing your craft because people will use what you have taught them against you. I learned that the hard way. I learned that not everyone should be my apprentice, not everyone should be taught the craft because just because my intentions are pure with witchcraft doesn't mean the person that I am teaching is pure and won't use it for evil. I've had many students come through and try to use the magic that I've taught them against me and more often than not it cause little dramas in my life when they would use my magic against me, however it would always turn around and be disastrous on them and then they would come back to me and I would find out by divining on their motives that they were trying to hit me with my own spell work. So in addition to practicing in silence because people don't support you we must beware of those that are there to try to obtain our gifts for improper use, and for those who are just trying to get a gain a quick buck by using witchcraft to manipulate people be very very cautious witches with what you share Asè OOO 🙏🏾🤞🏾.

Namaste. I’m a newbie to finally accepting that I’ve pretty much been a witch for over the past decade, but I’m not new to cutting people out of my life, even family members. For me, keeping them around drains the living bejesus out of my life force. Even if I didn’t share things with them, they truly never wanted me to be happy so my intuition allowed me to realize it was time to let them go. Initially it was lonely, but I don’t miss the extreme cases of jealousy and deceit. The block has now been lifted and new healthier relationships are starting to enter into my life. We ARE deserving to be surrounded around people who truly support us, but they may not be able to connect with us due to the negative energy we keep around us. Some things can’t be cleansed even with sage so we have to leave it behind entirely to truly evolve. I can now be as witchy as I want without judgement and I’m at peace to work on what I need to work on spiritually. I used to be a people pleaser too. One of the best things I’ve learned during this lifetime is to start living for myself.

Listen ,I know this. But what makes me mad is I always mess up. I feel like i’ve done it again but atp it’s hard to keep things to myself as I was squeezed into this situation to have to live with a friend. She’s nosey and doesn’t respect the space that I ask her to have for myself in my little corner of the living room. She’s been bringing people all throughout my living space after I asked her not to , while I burn my candles. I don’t know what to do but I think she’s doing it on purpose only bc she knows the importance of privacy . She doesn’t practice herself , but she knows this just from me telling her. What do I do? Bc I know she’s messing with some things I know she is
I know that is annoying, a trick I would do is start burning candles with no label on it. Almost as if it is a regular old bath and Bodyworks candle but you know the intentions behind it. And possibly speak your petition to the candle instead of having it on a paper if you do so, so no one will be tempted to read it. Get a plain white candle and as long as you know the purpose of it you’re all good.
