The mirror idea is what makes the most sense to me as well. Ben saying “I know that I can find the fire in your eyes” seems to be himself saying that he knows he needs to dig deep and find himself. And that “cause I will be the death of you” seems to be him saying if he doesn’t change his ways (Ben Burnley has been open with his struggle of severe alcoholism) than it’s going to kill him.
That's an interesting way of looking at it! I can totally see how his struggle with overcoming alcoholism could be the message of the song. I really enjoyed the "fire in your eyes" lyric, from a self-reflection view, it sounds like someone who has lost their way/passion for life and is looking for a way to reignite that spark
The song that got me into Breaking Benjamin was the song “Without You” and it’s still one of my absolute favorite songs. It doesn’t get nearly enough attention as I think it should so I’m here to advocate for it. I hope you give it a listen and love it as much as I do. Thanks

Breaking Benjamin was my favorite band growing up as a kid and my first rock band I listened to! You should definitely react to all of their songs! Breaking Benjamin one of my favorite bands of all times. I learned and improved my English with their songs.
