- Welcome back to another video guys happy Friday today I'll show you a basic way to install lowering springs in her 2018 to 2015 Scion xB.this may apply to other makes and models.

*Please be safe when decompressing springs as it's very dangerous and someone can get hurt. Used tools in a safe location and in a safe manner to prevent injury or even death. Some springs on some vehicles are under a lot more stress than others so please be safe.

Since they dont sell the TRD springs for a Scion Xd anymore. Can i use Tanabe with the the TRD shocks/struts without altering anything else?

@Insignificant_boost dude thanks for ur clip. This is actually much better to see how to uninstall and reinstall the front suspension and rear springs. Now if u did the rear shock absorbers, it would be super helpful. But other than that this is extremely helpful man. Thank u for this 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

I just received these exact same springs (purple too). How do you know which end is the top? Does it matter?
I definitely loved those while I had them! I don't believe there is a difference, but double check the paperwork! I do apologize!
How did you take out that top lock nut? I managed to take out the strut but that rod just spins. I can’t take it off.. thanks!

Running 18x8.5 with 235/40R18! Offset is 30 and 40 to keep the wheels as close as possible to flush.
Hey! I have a 09 scion xB and I am trying to find ways to lower my boombox any suggestions? also something that is cost-efficient would be amazing
Well you could pick up some USED or NEW TRD springs, good set up but they range from price.
How many inches did these lower ur ride ?
It drops 1.1 inches in the front and 2.2 in the rear, i still have wheel gap. I did two follow up videos shortly after this, if your looking for more information on the ride quality and rubbing:)

Do you have to replace the top hats?
I did not mind we're in good enough condition to keep. Same with the rubber boots.

The body panels are designed so low I wouldn’t do this unless you want to sand the car down to nothing
