Indeed, a 2.4 GHz network does not seem superior to the others. The 5 GHz network is better, spanning more area. I got a very good condition. When the phone is switched on and off from a message never seen. Does yours also make noise?
lol all good man. No, I cannot recommend it for video games. Or any WiFi extender for that use, quality just drops. Best investment I would say is to save up for high gain gaming router. If possible always use wired connection for gaming. I drilled holes around the house to pass through wired connection from my router to my gaming device. lol hope that helps, if you can subscribe to my channel I appreciate the support man. Cheers and stay safe.
It all depends if your router support 5Ghz band or if the device you're using can use 5Ghz band. When you initially setup the extender it should detect the 5Ghz band of your wifi and you will to set it up initially. It's been a awhile since I last set mine up, but it should work of your router supports 5Ghz.
