Thank you. I know this doesn't sound as smooth as the previous one but I wanted to show different transitions, even with tracks that are not in the same key. Hopefully I'm giving new ideas to djs out there.

Thanks man. I think that's because no one really cares about psytrance mixing. There are tons of production tutorials, but none of mixing. I strongly believe there's so much to innovate on how psy is mixed. Hope that will change someday =)

I started out with psytrance way back. Too energetic for me now, but these transitions tutorials are excellent regardless of the style of dance music you want to mix!

You don't seem to have watched the tutorial on how to map the drama-sweep effect. It's on the description. It's all explained there. It's not an effect, it's a button inside the Delay FX unit. You have to map it in the controller manager. Again, watch the tutorial mate...

Mixin' Psytrance is a difficult to mix and a unique than any genres,
Cuz there are tracks the kicks in mid area are clashing and doesnt sound good with the outgoing track.
So heads up !
I recommend listen to each track carefully and play it in my cue in headphone
if the tracks got kick is sound good enough with the outgoing track so play it.
Anyway if the kicks are clashing
drop mix swap the mids
I mix these tracks on 10 oclock mid and high
but make sure the song close in 2 semitones than each other that it'll be sound correct
i have multiple times.. ive followed it step by step and theres no advanced effect button selector. idk guess ill just never have the echo out

I just set up the Drama Sweep in Traktor myself and it's working perfectly. But now I'm left wondering... How are you able to use your "drama sweep knob" for the delay effect around 4:04? I see that you activate one of your buttons but twisting my most left knob automatically starts the drama sweep... I hope you can help me out!
What do you mean by what do I recommend? Do you mean which hardware? or what are the first steps?
On the first mix you twist the delay knob and you also twist one to the right of it with a light underneath. Just wondering what the second one does? My equipment has a different layout.
Check the description for the link on how to map it. You need to map the "Button 2" of the delay FX unit to have the freeze function.
I have serato intro and there is no delay filter or drama sweep. What can I use as a substitute?

No, it's a custom effect chain. There's a link in the description to a video that explains how to map it.
