I took care of a neighbor's kids when she had to stay overnight at the hospital with a sick baby. Her house was gross--poop floating on top of the water in the diaper pail (this is when most women still used cloth diapers), etc. Everything was gross. I spent all day over two days cleaning her house and it looked beautiful. I went home and the next day I came over to visit and I'm not kidding--after just one day the whole house was a filthy mess again. That was the last time I helped her with anything in her house.
ive watched a few of these and id decided id share my own little story. for a while I never cleaned really well but the house stayed madly clean, then we got a cleaning service and the house was great. Never had a hoarding house..untill my mom had a stroke, she isn't paralyzed but her memories a bit foggy. but ever since she over orders things refuses to take any of her clothes down or put them away and has become extremely messy. the up stairs is frighteningly dirty. I clean a lot more seriously now but yes little bits do work but it hard because my father isn't helpful much and my mothers makes a huge mess. Minot obsessive but i've had to kick it up. which honestly isn't a bad thing but looking at some of the dirty homes in this show it makes me want to clean better *shudders* but the cluttering is soo hard to manage since he cleaning service was stopped (they never came back one time) i'm not sure how to handle upstairs other then trying to bring cups down etc. also since she doesn't have much control over r her facilities thats..another issue yuck....
❤ that mum is killing me. Ive always wanted kids and here she is with 2 beautiful babies and she just uses them as an excuse to be lazy. She needs to be using them as the reason to keep tidy.
I am diagnosed General Anxiety Disorder with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and there are spectrums like Richard described in the beginning. The majority of folks think all OCD sufferers are like the character, Monk but that is a very extreme case. I know that the people on this show act as though it doesn’t bother them but it is difficult when people give you a hard time about it and you truly wish you could stop but it is a struggle. The problem with OCD\GAD mixture is truly difficult because you need to clean but their are depressive moods that make it hard to get started. The GAD makes the looping thought of “you should be spending time with your husband and son,” “they must be embarrassed to have anyone come inside” or when I do tackle the cleaning my husband will say stuff like “honey, don’t overdue it” “remember your back and joints feel fine now but tomorrow…” I watch these episodes to get out of my depressive mood and then clean after making a list so I don’t get to intense. 19 years after diagnosis and I still struggle every day.
I have a 1 and a 2.5 year old. They are both home with me all day and all night. I'm a stay at home Mom just like her. I stay up after they go to bed and clean my house so when the kids wake up, it's always clean. I'm not a clean freak at all, I just keep it clean and neat. I'm not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but she uses having kids as an excuse to not clean.
I’ll never understand why people normalize housewives or stay at home mums working 24/7. Like, why day and night? When do you get to live? Not a criticism, just curious. It seems unhealthy to me. It seem like this is so normalize in England. Women who barley get a chance to breathe and then revel in criticism of other housewives and stay at home mums who aren’t up to standard.
I will say... if I was a stay at home mom... my house would be pretty clean. I worked in a daycare. I know how kids are. A bit of general mess, sure... but honestly a great opportunity to teach the kids how to make cleaning FUN.
I see loads of criticism for the "lazy and dirty" wife on this show. Excuse me but WHAT ABOUT THE HUSBAND. What century is this?? Does he have no responsibility towards the home? Sure he works, but so does she, as a housewife. She could stand to learn some cleaning skills but I don't get why it's ALL her fault.
You can't blame everything on having little kids. I know plenty of people with two or more young kids and none of them ever let the house get like that.
"So what are you doing all day?" James is an annoying human being. I think this woman has no idea of how to run a household. James was a poor fit compared to so many other of the OCC people. Louise would have been the perfect person to pair with her (Louise has nine children, I think she has 10 now) to help her understand how to clean the house and take care of the children.
And she won't take kn his good habits because of resentment. That was deliberate saying those things infront of the mother in law. Ultimately you want the two types of people to take on some of the good habits not feel angry and horrible
I understand if people have mental health issues or physical issues but other than that there’s no excuse. I work 40 hours a week and I wake up two hours early so I can get dishes done and a load of laundry going so when I get home I can switch it over the night. I do most of the cleaning because I’m particular and need it done my way.
Ok,I have 3 boys&I homeschool.😍While a clean house is impt.,alot of women do it at the expense of the children&they will resent it,Ladies!💔BALANCE.👍💯Also, maybe if James had a WIFE&KIDS,he wouldn't be so judgemental about a family's mess.🤨But,yes, the mom does need to clean her house alot more&stop making excuses.😒
There is a BIG difference between being a tidy person and being this. This is obsessive behaviour and incredibly unhealthy. Just a reminder as the comments seemed to not remember this
That’s just an excuse, there are alternatives to harsh chemicals if you clean regularly. I’m allergic to chlorine bleach and pinesol. I’ve learned combinations of vinegar, baking soda and salt do wonders. Get creative, make picking up and cleaning a game with the kids.
Right- but also if you’re working 12 hour shifts then most likely your kids are not in your house for 12 hours to make a mess of it lol. I think this is something that people forget about that when you work and your kids are not in your house, They are not spending 8/10/12 hours making messes that you’re constantly cleaning up after. Sometimes I feel like the faster I clean, the faster my kids make a mess of things. That’s not to say that I don’t clean but I can definitely see someone getting overwhelmed or giving up and it becoming pretty insurmountable.
I’m the youngest of six kids so there’s seven of us in our house. My mother cleaned every single day. Our house was immaculate. We had a dog and two cats. There’s no excuse. I worked full-time and was a single motherand my house was immaculate. I didn’t have hardly anything so it was easy to clean. I’d rather have less things and have a clean house then have a house full of junk.
Why do they blame the wife/mother when both adults in the household work full time? Why do most people see a situation with two parents and two children under 5, a messy house, and then rush to blame the mother? The man wasn't even involved in the clean up at all, he just went off to work and let his wife be publicly humiliated for a mess they all contributed towards. So many of these cleaning shows do that.
@@lexyladybug81 They. Both. Work. Outside. Of. The. Home. BUT thanks for showing that you refuse to even hear the facts so long as you can blame a woman for something but not the man!
You're right. That probably why she doesn't clean, too. She's sick of picking up after the other adult in the house. Single women tend to have cleaner homes than married ones, just saying.
She does not work outside the home. So being a housewife/stay at home mom says it all. No one saying she needs to pick up after her husband. She should be picking up after her kids, and cleaning up after herself, and after cooking. She’s home all day. She can pick up the house. But if she was working outside the home, than you’d say “she got home she shouldn’t have to pick up the house or cook” well neither should her husband since she’s home. As a responsible adult, she should be cleaning up after herself and children’s since she’s home and does not work outside the home. She should tell her husband to pick up after himself and the house would stay tidy. Not disgusting. She picks up not even after herself. Pure laziness.
@@monicadelreal8212 the narrator says both people work outside of the home. You, an anonymous youtube commenter with an agenda, are claiming otherwise. Who would *you* believe?
Some people live their lives some people live to clean. My opinion...compulsive behavior has underlying issues. It's a form of escape. Compulsive cleaners are super visual it eases them to clean
She’s a housewife. She doesn’t work outside the home. If she tidy up everything as she got done with it. The house wouldn’t be in a disarray. If she was working outside the home women like you would be saying “ she was at work she shouldn’t have to do anything when she get home. Her husband can do it” well she doesn’t work outside the home so she can pick up. As her husband shouldn’t have to do too much coming from work. As I’m sure he’s tired too, as she would be expected to be if she worked outside the home. So she can do the cleaning at home. That is her job. She can expect her husband to pick up after himself. The house stays tidy. Stop coming up with lame excuses for her being just pure lazy. Edit: on days she’s tired, she can’t stop being a mother, so she can do a little less tidying up, and the house still wouldn’t be in that bad of shape. But she didn’t do anything.
Six years and never cleaned……two children, phew….overwhelming. I think once the sofa was pulled back, reality hit her. She was embarrassed. The cleaner who only uses bleach was interesting how she uses it EVERYWHERE, indoor, outdoor…ooof
Wait, everyone is judging the "messy people" but how about the obsessive-compulsive people? Cleaning twice a day?? Using gallons of bleach and gloves and having your significant other pull his pants around his ankles to avoid dirt.....That guys a saint.
Bad bad habits in the couple with the kids house, if there are other needs not shown or disclosed then it is hard keeping up with young children, and the ocd guy seems snippy, he has something smart to say about everything where there are other ocd cast who don't do this. there's a missmatch with their pairing I think
Rightfully so, that hose hand t been clean since the couple moved in. The mom is a stay at home mom. She can do the tidying up after the kids, herself and the kitchen. Once it’s done being used. Her house was fowl. She was deflecting and coming up with excuses as to why the house was in shambles. She can do the cleaning and picking up after her children. Her husband is the bread winner. Therefore shared responsibilities. He’s financially taking care of the family. She can clean and pick ip after the kids. She tell her husband he’s responsible for his own messes. Stop coddling that nasty behavior of being lazy. She should be embarrassed.
To all the lazy people out there: do yourself a favor and buy a Roomba. It forces you to pick up stuff from the floor and it cleans really well, even underneath furniture.

Why for telling her the truth? Maybe that’s what she needed. Not to be coddled. Look at where coddling got her. In a filth. Bet she won’t forget how that felt. And at least keep things tidy. No one is saying perfect. But she’s home all day. She can tidy.

Stop hanging your hat on the “what ifs” she’s home all day. She can pick up after herself, and her kids. Clean as she goes. Stop making excuses for her laziness. She couldn’t even clean her stove. Or behind her couch. I’m not going on the what if she has this… what if she has that…. Or what if she’s just lazy and doesn’t feel the need to do it? It can both ways Edit: if she has mental issues she wouldn’t be playing with her kids joining in on more mess making. If she does can she stop being a mom? I think not. So that shouldn’t be an excuse to not tidy up either. All these dumb excuses.

I went home and the next day I came over to visit and I'm not kidding--after just one day the whole house was a filthy mess again. That was the last time I helped her with anything in her house.
It was nice of you to put in the effort. Daily effort plus one big chore a day makes a big difference
Awe that is heart breaking that was an attempted murder..so sad. The house mom seems so depressed…
Imo, you can clean a kitchen with a good grease-dissolving soap and hot water. Use gloves.
42:51 that intended shoulder-pat which became a boob-pat was so hilariously awkward 😅🤣😂
ive watched a few of these and id decided id share my own little story. for a while I never cleaned really well but the house stayed madly clean, then we got a cleaning service and the house was great.
The show would be so much better if they stuck with the cleaners. When they clean parks etc. I just fast forward lol
Agree! That's the best part of the country house version, there's no interruptions.
❤ that mum is killing me. Ive always wanted kids and here she is with 2 beautiful babies and she just uses them as an excuse to be lazy. She needs to be using them as the reason to keep tidy.
That Jodi called her place disgusting . Well, I hate to break it to you, but you are living in that disgusting place and you made it disgusting.
Excellent rendition
I love this show. I start cleaning and feel so much better.
A fairy godmother in bright yellow pants 👖 💛 lol 😁
@@kmhkennedy👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I will say... if I was a stay at home mom... my house would be pretty clean. I worked in a daycare. I know how kids are. A bit of general mess, sure... but honestly a great opportunity to teach the kids how to make cleaning FUN.
I'm a clean freak, but as I'm watching this series I'm compelled to clean already clean surfaces.
Linda really doesn't understand poor Haley's OCD
I see loads of criticism for the "lazy and dirty" wife on this show. Excuse me but WHAT ABOUT THE HUSBAND. What century is this?? Does he have no responsibility towards the home? Sure he works, but so does she, as a housewife. She could stand to learn some cleaning skills but I don't get why it's ALL her fault.
Exactly, a housewife. It's her job to clean the damn house
@@argentopiombo yes, it made clear on the show that that was her job. She’s not doing a very good job.
She said the couch was heavy to move. I can move mine with one hand. I clean my couches regularly cause my grandkids always leave surprises for me.
How the hell does is take 2hrs to do dishes and throw in some laundry?!
@Katherine Kennedy it doesn't but I'm a procrastinator so I need the extra time
Ok,I have 3 boys&I homeschool.😍While a clean house is impt.,alot of women do it at the expense of the children&they will resent it,Ladies!💔BALANCE.👍💯Also, maybe if James had a WIFE&KIDS,he wouldn't be so judgemental about a family's mess.🤨But,yes, the mom does need to clean her house alot more&stop making excuses.😒
Outdoor dirt is alright!
There is a BIG difference between being a tidy person and being this. This is obsessive behaviour and incredibly unhealthy. Just a reminder as the comments seemed to not remember this
Love that the OECD guys are cleaning public places
That’s just an excuse, there are alternatives to harsh chemicals if you clean regularly.
I’m allergic to chlorine bleach and pinesol. I’ve learned combinations of vinegar, baking soda and salt do wonders. Get creative, make picking up and cleaning a game with the kids.
Kids is not an excuse. I worked 12 hour shifts at the hospital with 3 kids and my house was emaculate
I t b ink Linda takes joy in messy with Haley. Poor dear
So many of these cleaning shows do that.
because a house wife includes cleaning... literally its taking care pf the home and kids ...that's the job... she cant even clean a damn stove come on
@@lexyladybug81 They. Both. Work. Outside. Of. The.
I’m blown away that people don’t clean up. That’s just laziness and disgusting.
Some people live their lives some people live to clean. My opinion...compulsive behavior has underlying issues. It's a form of escape. Compulsive cleaners are super visual it eases them to clean
I Wonder if there are blind people obsszsive cleaners
I Wonder if there are blind people obsszsive cleaners
Jodi's husband can also help her clean up if she's tired somedays take turns or something but damn that house needs some order
Leaving your hotel room in disarray is not the answer. These people can't seem to find the normal, middle ground.
I was looking for this comment 😂
Jodi is just plain lazy. Blaming the kids? My goodness. You have to have a clean home because of your kids.
Six years and never cleaned……two children, phew….overwhelming. I think once the sofa was pulled back, reality hit her. She was embarrassed. The cleaner who only uses bleach was interesting how she uses it EVERYWHERE, indoor, outdoor…ooof
Ok so these people ask for help and are offended when they are told the truth
Wait, everyone is judging the "messy people" but how about the obsessive-compulsive people? Cleaning twice a day?? Using gallons of bleach and gloves and having your significant other pull his pants around his ankles to avoid dirt.....That guys a saint.
im fuming jody is taking credit when she did nothing but complain... good grief
I have ocd
the lady with the too kids is just lazy and uses her kids as an excuse. I sure she wouldn't clean even if she didn't have kids.
What is a snooker room?
snooker is a game similar to pool or billiards
To the woman that leaves her hotelroom messy: you shouldn't exaggerate
To all the lazy people out there: do yourself a favor and buy a Roomba. It forces you to pick up stuff from the floor and it cleans really well, even underneath furniture.
The gaslighting here is incredible. She's telling him he needs to go to counseling??
Ok…I had 2 children, a huge yard and vegetable garden, a 2000 square ft house AND a job. My house would NEVER look like the “house wife” She had an excuse for everything. She was so passive aggressive and super cutting to say about a gay man that he just doesn’t understand family life. Well I do and as I said my house was 4 times that size and with a job my house was clean. And with a toddler the amount of choking hazards were terrifying to me!
That Jodi woman is disgusting.
Christie cleans well but punches like s###.avoid the punching bag. Also that lady with kids is a bag of excuses
Why is it so blurry?
Its old lmao
Woman like this drive me crazy!! I had 4 kids and my house was clean!! No excuses for a pig sty, kids are not that hard and cleaning can be fun. I made cleaning a game with my kids when they were young.
Jodi just seems so lazy.
a house wife that cant even clean...she says she's ok with it and rather play instead... like bffr she is an adult, shes a wife and a mother... if she cant handle the job of being a house wife get a 9-5 and hire a someone that can.
how do people like her get married? seriously? she doesn't like cleaning the stove but apparently likes eating. then she was disgusted by the grime that she caused...make it make sense
Facts 😳😭🤗
That is just LAZZYNESS to have that much degusting stuff behind the sofa. And she uses the kids as an excuse.
James wrong choice to help Jodie..the mum with the 9 Kids or Amanda would be best help because they are mums aswell..he should of been sent to the collector on the isle and sort him out.
Why for telling her the truth? Maybe that’s what she needed. Not to be coddled. Look at where coddling got her. In a filth. Bet she won’t forget how that felt. And at least keep things tidy. No one is saying perfect. But she’s home all day. She can tidy.
I'm not an obsessive cleaner but my is clean and I work six days in a week that lady with two kids was just lazy if you clean regularly you don't have to spend so much time to clean that horrible house. Poor kids with that mom
Lol "he doesn't understand family life" no ma'am you don't understand cleanliness!!!! I'm a mom and my house is spotless, and I'm not OCD. Your child deserve a clean home. These shows are silly, they have sick people helping sick people on the other extreme. How about hire some real professional in mental health.
Fly tipping? Wth is that
Why can't the husband just take a shower after work? His dirty clothes are still touching the couch
At what point will you realize how damaging those cleaners are on your sinuses respiratory system end brain and your lungs as well as everything else
Yeah but so is the spores from mold. Linda seems to be the only ocd cleaners I've seen on here that uses vinegar and other more natural cleaners.
@@carlieburton5096 25 bottles of Domestos per week is more dangerous than mold someone can have in house cleaned once per week. Sometimes I think that people forgot that we survived millions years of evolution without bleach and being exposed to bacteria, viruses and other crap 😃
3 hrs a day cleaning.... i wish someone would do it for me but not living with me -- paid by me so no criticism. I'm clean but messy.
The mom of 2 may have some kind of mental issue but everyone would rather point, judge her and talk about how much better they are than she is. I hate people.
It can both ways
Edit: if she has mental issues she wouldn’t be playing with her kids joining in on more mess making. If she does can she stop being a mom? I think not. So that shouldn’t be an excuse to not tidy up either. All these dumb excuses.
@@monicadelreal8212 what’s the difference between “what if she’s lazy” and “what if she has a mental health issue”? All I’m saying is it’s easy to judge someone but we don’t know the whole story. It doesn’t hurt to be compassionate.
@@jessielynnshe demonstrated how lazy she was. She literally threw garbage ontop of what he was picking up for her “because it was going to be cleaned up anyway”. Not cleaned up by her lazy ass and all while she blamed her poor children.
Jodi looks like Peggy
Jodi is lazy, partner's Mom could take the kids for a few days to let the couple tackle it but they wouldn't however James is an angry, miserable git. I doubt the house stayed even 50% clean after a month.
I am surprised that most of the comments brings out how bad is Jodi. Well, I'm not a clean freak, but my husband is. He cleans if needed! Just that easy! Husband came from work, tired etc? I work too and i am tired and still cook, clean, do laundry. My husband can do the same.
First off, you just said you work too. Jodi is a stay at home mom. That is her job. Picking up the house, after the kids, and herself. She can tell her husband to pick up after himself too. Stop trying to add her husband to this, when she’s home all day to not let the house get that bad, and then blame her kids. Whose the adult? Show your kiddos to pick and put things back so you don’t have to constantly be picking up after them. Yes, I have three kids work outside the home, and still clean my house. My kids learned to tidy up their messes they made. She should be doing the same thing. Pick up whatever the little one couldn’t. No excuses for being lazy.
@@monicadelreal8212 If messy house is a sign of depression? Honestly I knew a couple where husband nagged his wife like all the time. Even in front of they're guests. She just became very messy in time. Took care of herself only because her job asked to look nice. If person doesn't feel control of they're life's they can start to loose control over they're surroundings. Mentioning "ye old days we just did that". In ye old days if you weren't normal you were put in asylum. That's all. Like for me messiness starts to show when I am very stressed or doesn't feel good. In my mind, if husband doesn't work super hard, physically demanding work, then picking up some things or washing the dishes isn't that hard. In our home that works very well. By the way, he is a father too. So he should raise they're kids to pick after themselves.
Why are all the OCC videos so blurry?
It's just bad/low video resolution. Try the channel called " filth " they also have OCD Cleaners and most are in better resolutions. 😊
Having less furniture and junk helps too
They both are lazy. A yong couple with two kids can clean keep it clean.
Yeah I was kind of wondering why the husband wasn't helping clean like that is definitely a job for two people when it gets that bad
Jody annoyed me. Cry and run off when something needs to be done. Pure laziness.
Yeah that’s not family life
Come on she is lazy
That guy that cleaned that lady’s home, he toots his own horn. Maybe he should wait for someone else to praise him. His own home may be spotless, but his manners and spirit need help
The first woman is lazy. Using her kids as an excuse. He asked what does she do all day with the one who is youngest and she couldn't answer.
I can hardly stand the condescending attitude of the cleaners. And usually, when they are through, they feel even more self-righteous. Shameful
