I just love listening to this man. I admire him and wish him full success. This man is the person who guided ICICI Bank's retail business for 7 years and made it super strong in these year and look how ICICI Bank is performing on stock market now. I am following IDFC FIRST BANK since 8-10 months still have not invested in it but surely looking forward to invest. This bank is next HDFC bank in 12-15 years.
Hey, idfc first bank youtube channel i want you to make a playlist of interviews of v vaidyanathan ji ..so that we are able to know in which direction the bank is going according to its leader... Hopefully you will consider it🙏
I heard this interview late infact today , and just the voice and confidence of mr vaiddanthan lead me to buy 2000 shares today ITSELF . I wish every 1 invest in IDFC FIRST BANK ....
His views are clear Indian banks would be contributing themost of the economy in 10 to 15 future years just like American banks Goodluck to IDFC first bank

A bank on average takes 10 years to break even on investment and cost parameters and one needs to also give this new entity the benefit of doubt that this new management is trying to do away with legacy infra loans and other corporate loans. This man is trying to get this bank on its feet and he's trying to build a solid retail portfolio and is focusing on building CASA, new bank branches and bigger portfolio of retail loans. HDFC/ICICI/Axis bank started in 1994.. this is a bank just in its initial days. Stay invested, you'll be rewarded!!
Interview of vaidyanathan is excellent, he has come out with candid revelation of the state of affairs of idfc first bank . His vision of growth path is very clear. " Acche din for the bank" is clearly & surely ahead. A Bold CEO of the Bank indeed.🎉
Go for established banks … why he is saying so ... Firstly in near term further NPAs cannot be ruled out and secondly foundation expenses are enormous, so profit growth is minimal for some quarters.
Good bank. I am happy with the service which I get from your bank and your employees. Keep going. With your words and confidence in that gives confidence to us as well. Very good plan to grow the bank systematically. My family has 3 bank account in your bank. Your apps are also good and easy to use.
Buy at 38 39 and forget this till 10 years returns will be good, since retail is focus growth will not be exponential but growth will healthy and less risky!!!
Stressed asset details are available in the website. Is it the complete list? There may be slightly smaller items also and if compiled may amount to 000s of crores. So in the coming quarters, your profits will be eaten away by these and you have to find alternate income for funding expansion. Further, how can you make it up from low cost CASA as your low cost CASA is infact high cost as you pay hight interest to CASA deposits equivalent to term deposits of major banks? Please clarify how you are going to manage it? I find all are after retail loans and definitely there is competition and likely more stress both for asset and income generation. In that event what are your plans for mitigating the risk.
Dear Ma'am, If you wish to avail a moratorium, kindly write to help@idfcfirstbank.com or SMS from your registered mobile number to 80070 10908, quoting the Loan account number, five days prior to the due date of your cheque / ECS mandate. Team IDFC FIRST Bank
As per my prediction profit will be there in next quarter as it was in sep 19 but due to heavy NPA provisions Dec 19 was in loss but March 2020 sure short profit of may be June 2020
Without giving names of our wholesale clients, please provide an ordered breakdown of the various companies and the total amount of their loans. While we prefer if you named the companies, we understand it may be prudent not to name them. Instead, use the sector name or disambiguate the name like you do (a logistic company from South India). Is such a list already available? How many total wholesale customers and their loan amounts? What about the top (by loan amount) 20 retail loans? The time has come to know this publicly because of the consecutive provision and/or Exceptional items. We do not doubt your long term vision, and we do appreciate your efforts. But we will appreciate the above info to be prepared for future shock should it happen.
Dear Sir, Thank you for writing to us. We are happy to share that the stressed account details are available on our website in the Investor Presentation. Request you to please refer to page number 33 of our Investor Presentation Q3 FY 2020 in which we have listed the stressed accounts that are under our watch list giving details of exposures. For your convenience, we are sharing the link here: www.idfcfirstbank.com/content/dam/IDFCFirstBank/PDF/IDFC-FIRST-Bank-Investor-Presentation-Q3FY20-FINAL.pdf Additionally, as conveyed in the interview it is reasonably clear that the large provisions of big accounts is behind us and after this quarter results, we look forward to a steady growth. Thank you Team IDFC FIRST Bank
@@idfcfirstbanksocial Thank you. I had seen the numbers earlier immediately after VV's interview with ETNow. However, I was not able to reconcile the details in my mind. Clearly, you report (not by name) the provisioning for Reliance Cap, Sical, DHFL, but not Vodaphone (which, by the way, was the largest)!! As a result I was unable to tell what else it is you haven't told us!!! Also, are we to understand that the 12 listed entities on pg 33 + the missing telecom company are the ONLY entities in your corporate (whole sale) book and that you have no others? Once again, we applaud VV and team for forthrightness. It is missing a good deal in what we see around. Yet, to be blunt, we dont want you to think that 65% forthrightness on your part to be 100% forthrightness/transparency! Sure, no one was in a position to imagine the AGR issue could arise in Q3 when you had prepared the Q2 result. In a similar manner, we have no clue what might arise in Q4 that you may need to provision for. Are the 12(+1) entities on p33 the largest of your O/S exposure?
