    Bill Bailey should be given a show where he goes around the world learning and sharing musical concepts to non-musicians. It's like Bill Nye's science show but for music. Make it happen, Netflix.

      @@cl759 First of all, if you've read my comment you've already read the joke, so it's not like I ruined it somehow. Second, the joke was just a merging of USSR and USA, but considering the S's and U's mean something different in both of them, I genuinely wanted to explore how they'd come together, as you could come up with many interpertations. Third, it's a throwaway comment that's not hurting anyone. Fourth, telling someone what is or isn't poor form is also poor form, as it's subjective.

      @zbr76 In a comedic musical show, I have an assumption that explaining what a minor 3rd is, let alone diminish, and intervals, may be a bit much for a likely unmusical crowd to understand. I'm just hazarding a guess tho, who really knows right?

      In what way?

    • @joshburns1777
      @joshburns1777 5 лет назад +15

      drschplatt it references the widely circulated accusations that Russia and Putin colluded with Trump and/or the Trump campaign to ensure that Trump won the US presidency.
      The implication of these accusations is that if they are true, then Trump must secretly be acting in the interests of Russia or even acting under their orders as a Russian puppet, because Russia would have to have had a lot to gain from Trump becoming president for them to have wanted to collude with him.
      So, the American national anthem sounding “a bit Russian” is a metaphor for the accusation that Trump, the leader of the USA, is a pawn controlled by Russian puppetmasters.

    Why are people being defensive of Trump before anyone has even mentioned him (and the video doesn't either).
    If you're that insecure about your president, maybe you should reconsider your oppinions afterall.

      Looked like it was just people insulting the guy and not defending him at all. What would that say about the outspoken group criticizing Trump on every platform regardless of the parent content they refer to? Coming over to RUclips on a comedic music video and commenting how terrible Trump is shows a good bit of obsession in my opinion.

    • @Musicman-q2x
      @Musicman-q2x 5 лет назад +4

      @@jordanhardy2463 No, coming to these comments and making the argument that people are insulting trump more than defending him is obsessive. Theres been one NPC meme comment, and this comment talking about defense vs insult comments. Like, I agree that it's very obsessive to take something that has nothing to do with Trump and turn it into a Trump discussion. So why is no one in the comments insulting Trump? I literally just read through all of them again. Theres this comment involving trump, and an NPC meme which as we all know satirizes and belittles anti-trumpers.
