late in April, expecting snow to be everywhere, we drove up three hours from the Bay Area to the Lake Tahoe area with one goal in mind, to build a snowman. As expected, the bright sun shone over the landscape, and the snow started to melt, but with luck, we found the remaining snow in Northstar California Resort, accomplishing our goal of building a snowman, a very small one.
