@Assassinater Wolf That sounds way too simplistic to be true, and the Norse gods are much more in line with the Greek gods than the Christian god in terms of morality.
@@acolotlgames "don't go to school tomorrow" but with a lot more blood (I intend to create a non-peaceful rebellion by overthrowing the government, then drastically changing society by eliminating discrimination and establishing a new kind of communism by taking money from the rich and redistributing it to the poor. killing all the criminals and wiping out the police)
@🐈CansuDoesDraw🐈 the thing is, Disney did censor/try to censor the Owl House and is still trying to cancel S3 Luz and Amity are called "friends" by the official RUclips channel and Raine is referred as "him" in the Disney+ closed captions.
I love how it goes from a silly joke to a zombie apocalypse, then funny golf balls fighting, to a -Five nights at Freddy's- , then silly star toy, to an armaggedon
@@elile8games611 Not exactly. Like, the only times with blood I can remember were Dipper's nose bleed in the S1 finale, and Stan's arm being scratched and bleeding at the end of "Society of the blind eye", but even then, i don't think it was too much blood for Disney to censor. They probably saw it as "Some kids had nosebleeds, they'll understand and won't get scared from the scene as long as it doesn't look painful" and "Kids can get scratches and injuries from running around so much; they'll understand", but that's just my guess.
There was also one plausible implied death you missed during the axe murder episode. The one where the twins went into a bar and they’ve found a probably dead man lying on the ground, of which Mabel replies that he’s sleeping.
a lot of “kids” shows that have violence have such a hard time showing stakes for me because it’s all just light bruises and scuffs at the end of the day, like how to train your dragon. you never feel like someone will actually get hurt on screen besides at the very end. with shows like gravity falls and infinity train, on their use of violence without actual gruesome deaths and such gives it the tension it deserves and aids to the mystery. i wish more shows had the balls to do it.
Rick and Morty, South park, Adventure time, The grim adventure of Billy and Mandy, Ben10 (old one not the new shitpost), Teen Titan (not go), The tale of the gravekeeper (not a kid show but i watch it as a kid), Z squad (teenage powerpuff girl), Danny Phantom.
@@dimetrodon2250 because unlike The Simpsons or Family guy which are marketed as "cartoon for adult", Rick and Morty and South Park are sometimes counted as kid show (as weird as it is) and me along with people i know watch them as a kid
To be fair, all the other deaths are in battle/self-defense or are being committed by antagonists. That one would have been a protagonist committing murder in cold blood.

0:26 I love the fact that in the back of the cereal box, there's a maze asking if you can escape, but it's impossible to complete the maze, implying that they're trapped
That scene was outstanding. I don't think it even lasts a whole two minutes and yet they've managed to set everything up so you actually feel sad about Big Henry's sacrifice.
Aw, no giant flaming Stan Head balloon crashing into the mother and child? "Mommy, is the giant floating head going to eat us?" "YES, CHARLIE, YES HE WILL!"
Funny thing about Giffany, according to Journal 3 she isn't actually dead. Her code managed to escape to one of the Fight Fighters arcade machines, and she's trying to patch things up with Rumble McSkirmish
I doubt anyone has noticed, but if you pause at 2:12 and decode the binary on the computer it spells out "SPACEJAMTWO" which is kinda hilarious considering the AI in Space Jam 2 and that someone actually put that in Gravity Falls
2:26 this really was one of the first episodes to genuinely creep me out. I lived for this show back then, but man it was insane. I mean the whole episode with dipper and Pacifica at the mansion was just dark as hell.
yeah giffany is probably the scariest villain of gravity falls and second imo would be summerween trickster he's legit creepy when in the get-up we see him for most of his screen-time

Actually he was given a set amount of time for his show. He just managed with what was given (compared to other shows "cough" the owl house"cough"star vs the force of evil"cough cough")

Big Henry was the most surprisingly emotional death I’ve ever seen in any show. They made us feel sad for a golf ball. Props to this great show.
That scene was entirely created by one of the storyboard artists, Matt Braly who later went on to create Amphibia. He knew how to make us cry from the beginning!!

Isn't it funny how Disney allowed multiple on-screen character deaths, but wouldn't allow a spin the bottle reference on a Halloween party poster?
Yet they allow “Spin the pig” in Bottomless Pit and “Spin the person” in Weirdmageddon
And they didn’t allow a lesbian kiss in the love god because they didn’t want to deal with Karens (and probably China)
@🐈CansuDoesDraw🐈 the thing is, Disney did censor/try to censor the Owl House and is still trying to cancel S3

No, every appearance of blood is canonically strawberry jam, which alex himself confirmed on twitter
The zombie design along with the deaths were rather graphic tho
@@Nightshade-Aurora it’s goo, not blood. Just stretch the rules and have the “blood” of dead characters be goo or liquid chocolate.
They did death humor really well in this show, like "Oh ha ha, now he's dead!" or "Double heart attack =D"

a lot of “kids” shows that have violence have such a hard time showing stakes for me because it’s all just light bruises and scuffs at the end of the day, like how to train your dragon. you never feel like someone will actually get hurt on screen besides at the very end. with shows like gravity falls and infinity train, on their use of violence without actual gruesome deaths and such gives it the tension it deserves and aids to the mystery. i wish more shows had the balls to do it.
@@trananbinhjerry6438 Did you list Rick and Morty and South Park as "kids shows"?

A lot of these weren’t deaths , but they did leave the characters emotionally scarred
The hell was that one part where a guy was in the car and eaten.
I mean more people died then didn’t die like the time squad. The lumberjack for example or giffany
But zombies... They really died for a second time
@@hckingking right that mfker is dead
Fun fact: Dipper has witnessed 2 people melting to death on the roof twice.
I love how Groucho breaks the 4th wall by pointing out he should be holding a cigar but isn't because of Disney's censorship rules
Also ironic out of this entire compilation the cigar was the thing that wasn’t allowed
I thought it was supposed to be a microphone.
I'm still messed up from Big Henry's death, or in the words of Gorney, I've been traumatized.
That is still the saddest shit I've ever seen
same here, when I first saw it it made me paranoid about gas, and I always skipped the episode after
you fool, it's not traumatized, it's "twamatized"
They should have gotten the sticker. One of them literally died for it.
Even after years I'm still feeling bad for Polly, poor girl she probably considered him his best friend
My god. Looking back, the zombie episode was REALLY graphic for a kids shows. I have no clue how that was allowed but I’m still glad it’s in the show.
Its more concerning that there is enough death for a 4 minute compilation

Funny thing about Giffany, according to Journal 3 she isn't actually dead. Her code managed to escape to one of the Fight Fighters arcade machines, and she's trying to patch things up with Rumble McSkirmish
I doubt anyone has noticed, but if you pause at 2:12 and decode the binary on the computer it spells out "SPACEJAMTWO" which is kinda hilarious considering the AI in Space Jam 2 and that someone actually put that in Gravity Falls
