Even though he destroyed his dimension even if it was accidental, I don't think it counts as involuntary manslaughter if it was literally killing an entire dimension.

3:48 wasn’t it though? The terms of the contract were that Bill would receive a “puppet”, and in return “crack that laptop right open” for Dipper. He never specified that the puppet *had* to be one of the sock ones strewn about, and he *did* in fact crack the laptop right open-you can see the internals right as he steps on it. Dick move, sure, but that’s on Dipper for making assumptions of what Bill meant and not reading the fine print of the deal.
