I’ve unmatched levels of dry skin, literally everyday my skin is flaking, and I’ve really enjoyed using her cleanser so far! I do feel like it has gotten everything off after one cleanse, but I don’t wear much makeup on the daily. And I also have developed the habit of leaving it on my face for 5-10 minutes because it feels so comfortable on my tight skin 😅
I agree also have very dry sensitive skin. And after using this cleanser and mist, at night i straight put retina and the skin still nourished and glow… 😜
That’s so good to know, it must be all those saponins 😉 My skin definitely takes the products well but I do feel like I need a serum or moisturiser straight after! Thanks for sharing and watching! ♥️♥️♥️
I always enjoy your content. One tip that you mentioned but totally forgot to make use of during the cleansing process was to actually emulsify your face and the product with warm water and then go in with the damp cloth. All the remnants would have been removed. Hope you give it a try as a 20 minute mask: saponins are beautiful! Been using the Sanskrit Saponins by Niod for years, totally different formulation, but the effectiveness of that gummy, wonderful ingredient is unparalleled. The treatment effect from leaving it on for 2 minutes or 20 is how your skin looks and behaves over time, it is in no way meant to replace any other step in your routine. It's a very clarifying ingredient. Hope you continue to use it and update us. Thanks.
Hello, thanks for your comment! You’re right, I did forget to do that. Sometimes when I’m filming, I have 101 things that run through my mind of what I need to do, but then forget. It’s only when I’m editing that I sometimes realise my mistake 😅 I actually felt that the cleanser was great for removing all remnants of makeup. My face felt squeaky clean with it. However, skin types vary and for my very dry skin, it didn’t do anything as a mask (even when it was kept on for longer). I’m so glad that I found out about saponins through this launch and product, however! ☺️ Thanks so much for watching ♥️♥️♥️
Absolutely love both cleanser and mist. Sensitive and dry skin. Not easy to please. Use Biologique recherche, MBR and valmont skincare. But LE did amazing job. My skin loves it.

Good to hear your thoughts on these products! I'm not going to rush out to buy them, but might pick them up at some point in the future if I'm ordering other products. Or if I can try the mist in a pop up or permanent store. I asked about that in the comments to one of her videos, and she replied that 'lots of interesting things are coming this summer'.
I've also seen Lisa confirm in RUclips and Instagram comments that they are working on concealer and a tinted moisturiser type product.

Im sirprised to hear the claim of Lisa being one of the first to do a double cleanse since Ive been doing that for years. Its also been more common in Korea long before the US and the west.

But it was a long time ago since they started to double cleanse! For example, using the cold cream to remove makeup before washing the skin with soap 🧼 🤔

As always it’s so lovely to watch your videos and it’s particularly exciting to see a LE review! I’m still unsure if I’ll get these products, I’m mainly interested in the cleanser but I also feel like there are so many amazing skincare brands out there that I would choose over this one because I feel perhaps they already have more experience and expertise in that category (I have super sensitive reactive skin so I’m always extremely cautious with the products I use) but I do love Lisa and can tell that she’s truly very careful & thoughtful with everything she creates and puts out. Hi Natalia, I completely agree that there is so much competition and brands with the know-how from decades of research. If you’re curious about the cleanser, I suggest contacting the LE team and explaining your skin sensitivity. You never know, and they may send you a sample. I know they have samples, as I was weirdly given one even though I bought the whole set. Thanks so much for watching, and I hope you’re well! ♥️♥️♥️

I like her foundation very much, is my daily go-to. As you said all drier skin types have to do is use a serum/rich cream/sunscreen underneath it (basic prep for dry skin) or mix it with a beauty oil and/or glowy primer to make it work for them. I have a hard time finding foundations that last in humid weather, match me well, don't break me out, and look natural (not matte, not dewy) and Lisa's fits the bill. I use a duo fiber buffing brush to apply it and then a flat foundation brush to build coverage. In 2 layers it doesn't reach full coverage; medium-hi-ish Perhaps in 4 layers..I've never gone that far with it. But I have stuff to cover. I think the last true full coverage foundation I've tried was the EL Face and body foundation.
Hey, as I said before, you’re the exact opposite skin type to me. I envy you in a way because I think oiler skin is easier to manage than very dry/dry textured skin. For example, I personally hate the EL Double-wear as I used to work for EL and it was a nightmare to remove on the counter displays when it spilled over. I used to have to use alcohol to remove it and it put me off from using it on my skin for the same reason. I know it looks beautiful and flawless on many skins but for dry skin types, it’s an absolutely no-go 🙅🏻♀️🥲♥️♥️♥️

Like you , I have sensitive eyes too and many cleansers I just cannot use.

Hey! I unfortunately haven’t tried it on my eyes yet due to my falsies. But I’m itching to cleanse my eyes properly (with this cleanser) once my lashes are removed. If I haven’t tried it by then, I’ll report back! Alternatively, I’d suggest reaching out to the LE team and asking for a sample to try it first. As a person that used to make my own soaps, people have to understand that oils, in general, do have a 'smell'. It is not fragrance added, it is just the smell of the oils. When it is 'manmade' you will not 'smell' anything, other than when they add fragrance, etc.
Hi Zanet, that’s useful to know. I don’t presume something has fragrance in it until I read the full ingredients list and see it listed there. With scents, I think it depends on the person. When I say I don’t like certain scents, it doesn’t mean I don’t like any smell at all. There are some oils (as you say) that smell incredible, and others which are articifically fragranced, that make me feel a little sick, especially Gucci makeup 😅 Thanks for sharing and watching! 🙏♥️♥️♥️

I still feel the urge to double cleanse with 2 applications of her cleanser. I would like to see skin after a first cleanse with a microscope to see if any makeup was left behind.

Have you used a toner with cotton to see if there's any residues?
Does it remove waterproof mascara and liquid lipstick?
Yes to liquid lipstick, I used it for her Velveteens and it worked very well! As for waterproof mascara, I haven’t used it on that but other eye makeup and it worked. I just don’t know how effective it is on waterproof eye makeup! Thanks for watching ♥️♥️♥️
