It's 2022 and I came here just to listen to Mattias Klum. I remember watching this when I was young and now I'm in my mid-30s and still, Borneo forest is doing very badly. I change my PhD from engineering to sustainability because I realised, to make the change happen, I too need to change my course and be part of the solution (literally). Thank you Mr. Klum, still one of the best sessions by Nat Geo photographer :) Cheers!
"I doubt that it will, but I will fight for it."
on personal level, a very impacting quote!!
This is the National Geographic I grew up with, and fell in love with.
National Geographic please stay THIS WAY. I don't need realty TV from you guys.
Thank you
I am now even more inspired then ever to work with and photograph animals all across the world because of this man and his video, and also Austin Stevens.
I'm actually becoming a photographer now that i've seen all of the Mattias Klum videos, thank you Nat Geo for inspiring me and thousands of other young photographers

all i can say is you have no idea how much i respect your career.not everybody can do this amazing job even if you give me a great camera.
Very nice presentation!
I hope not to many people forget where we come from, before it`s to late.
Fantastic presentation! Nice to have some humour and great photos and videos too. I think that most people do not appreciate the effort that goes into obtaining a great shot...3 months to obtain one beautiful photograph, now that's devotion and a huge ounce of patience. Thank you for posting this.
So happy that my school brought us to a leisure with him! :D

this is wonderful.. thanks
I want to help him fight for Borneo. This is the first time I've seen this video and it completely crushed my heart to see the change between the two photographs. I choked up and almost cried to know how we have destroyed our planet. Here I am in an apartment of hardwood floor and I suddenly feel sick to my stomach. What can I do to help that country and the life there?
Amen. So true.
Amazing.....
Wow, du är duktig Mattis (vet du säkert redan) - keep going!!
