Josh was one of the best possible additions to this band. I love this track.
I loved this song dude. They performed it live in Vancouver days before it was released and it is so good live. Also, Josh does backing vocals live a lot.
Also it is weird you mentioned ATB because they opened for Spiritbox.
I was there too and said the same thing about ATB! Coincidence? I think not! (But maybe it is lol).

While true, if you listen to them live, they only do songs with breakdowns haha, so it doesn't help. But they are amaziiiiing.
I've heard every song lol, if you've heard courtney in her interviews it's clear that she wants alot of variations and for the music to sound different so it appeals to more people, she's got a good vision.
This might just be my new favorite Spiritbox track! This track actually reminds me a bit of 4D by Northlane with all of the fast-paced breakbeats, with this one being much more chill... and I love the vibe. This was a love at first listen track for me and I hope the rest of the album follows suit!

This is such a good song to vibe to. It does get me excited to see what’s coming next. Hell, it wouldn’t surprise me if the next song they release is like a follow up to this song, like if this song is on an upcoming album, the next single they release is the next track on the album, especially with how this song ends almost on a cliffhanger.

Same. Talented bunch of individuals. I love the evolution of bands. Opeth and Steven Wilson come to mind where they evolved a lot and you can still notice it's an Opeth or SW song/project upon hearing it. I might be biased because Opeth and Porcupine Tree/SW and his dozen other projects are my favorites.
This song perfectly transitions into Without a Whisper by Invent Animate. Trust me, queue the songs together and listen to the perfection

This came up on a Spotify playlist and I instantly fell in love. Not as crazy as some of their other songs and Holy Roller still remains my favorite Spiritbox song but I absolutely love how otherworldly and ethereal this song sounds. Courtney's voice is amazing and the riffs and beats groove so well. I've had it pretty much on repeat for a few days now.

I love how much diversity Spiritbox has to their musical range. This song and Holy Roller are so different yet both are unmistakably Spiritbox.
For me, Spiritbox were one of those rare finds where I just fell in love immediately. Eternal Blue provides just about everything I would want from an album, and more. Genuinely excited when there’s a new release from them. Not many bands these days do that for me.

I 100% agree with the final chorus just having that hauntingly beautiful factor that takes it to higher heights. Wish it was this version the whole time, but now listening to the whole songs builds anticipation for that outro chorus. 😍

I had the pleasure of hearing this song early at their show last weekend. The chorus was instantly catchy and I knew this would be a song that stays in your head
I saw Spiritbox this past Monday in Phoenix and they absolutely smashed it. One of the best sounding bands I’ve seen live. I lost my mind when they played Hella Good.
I'm loving how much this is reminding me of Loathe. I would adore seeing Spiritbox do a tour with them
I bet within the next year and a half a second album is going to drop. I like the poppy vibe, it doesn't seem to hurt the song. It's good to have this dynamic variety in your work as a band.
This reminds me soooo much of Ashe-era TesseracT and Ashe’s band Voices From the Fuselage. I know Spiritbox is influenced by them but everything from the production and even Courtney’s vocal melodies sound like something Ashe would make! And that’s definitely not a bad thing!

i feel like they did the token early deafheaven thing in this song - they built up with a steady more chaotic wall of busy sound - into the release and the resolution version of the chorus at the/near the end of the song, complete with a cliffhanger for a perfect seamless transition into the next song on the album
like deafheaven just did that left and right for a long time - just wall of sound blast beats into like just lots of open cymbals and spaced out quarter note bass/snare yknow
This song is so fun to vibe to, like I don't feel like headbanging on it, it has like a shoegaze-y vibe to it, I wanna close my eyes and dance more with this one and I love that. It goes to show just how versatile this band continues to be. They give me the chunky headbanging songs, they give me the close my eyes and dance songs, and no matter what they do they're killing it. All bangers.

I'm totally happy they're trying new things, because that's kinda their thing lately with experimenting, while also still retaining the essence of Spiritbox. I agree with others here, that this seems like their "Secret Garden" of their new music/album. Still my fave band for the past 4 years, and it was dope hearing it live in Vancouver.

Same here! Altered State is one of my all time favorite albums and so to here this sort of production again is gorgeous. Plus Courtney’s voice reminds me a lot of Ashe so it works very well with this style.
