Hi Paul, it’s looking very nice already. Not done a Border kit yet but it seems a few people have issues with the instructions. It’ll be alright on the night Paul, you’ll make it work 👏🏻👏🏻, all the best, Chris
Hi Paul, the Spitfire is looking great, when you show the power plant, I thought it could go straight into a 35th scale Centurion, happy modelling mate, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
It’s good that you have a kit that makes you think for a while. It’s coming along nicely. Have a great week. Almost done with the Viggen for the 48hr. GB 🥳🤪
Looks great. You're right about making you think, I have their B5n2 Kate and while I haven't started it straight away I've noted there is no colour call outs in the instruction which will make paining harder than it should. I expect there will be magically fitted parts along the way as well. Oh well. Take care, Richard
Dear Mr P, Border have chosen a funny way of putting the fuselage together! It is I fear of no help to you right now, but I suspect that the Kotare kit instructions may offer some assistance- perhaps I could look later and get back to you? Regards, Z
I'm sharing your frustration with the cockpit assembly and lack of adequate instructions for this poorly designed cockpit. Of course it doesn't help that I just built the Mk.1 by Kotare. The Cockpit in the Kotare is truly a work of art, and the standard by which to judge any cockpit of any WWII aircraft by any manufacturer. Sadly where the Kotare fell short was no engine, and no guns, but a beautiful and enjoyable build.
Appreciate your comment. If only border would sort there instructions out .Yes I have seen wil Patterson build on the kotare kit and the cockpit looks very impressive. Stay and happy modelling
Looking good Paul
Looks great progress Paul, well done. Cheers Bob 👍
Thanks Bob appreciated have a great week
