Prince George’s County considers new measures to curb youth crime at National Harbor

- 7News has learned Prince George’s County officials are considering a range of options that go beyond curfews to stop large groups of teens from gathering, fighting, and stealing at The National Harbor.
According to sources, the plan will likely be announced later this week.
The action comes in response to the latest incident involving young people in National Harbor which occurred on Saturday evening.
Video obtained by 7News shows what appears to be more than 100 young people gathered around a fight. The people scattered when police arrived.

Where the parents at? Parents should be charged for their child negligence.
These children were old enough to get to the National Harbor so they are old enough to be held fully accountable.

This is just part of the culture. Young single mothers embarass their children. Those children grow up looking for attention because of their low self esteem. Add the crabs in a bucket effect and you have the victimization of a whole group of people that will NEVER take accountability for their actions. You dont see this in any other group.

"Where there's more than three, I will not be", is a good rule of thumb if you want to stay alive and experience no trouble. And yes, I'm black. I stay away from there and instead go to the waterfront in Old Town Alexandria. Not only that, but PG County charges to park and will ticket you for anything they can find while you are parked there. They want you to come but look for any opportunity to milk the money from your pocket. And for what? so you can be a potential victim of this kind of crap on the video? Only a matter of time before they start shooting. Old Town Alexandria is nice and don't put up with that crap for one minute.

We have been looking for a new house for some time. Onemajor stipulation I told my realtor. No PG County, nothing east of I 95 including Laurel...for a reason. I have another answer to the violent crime. First, hold the parents accountable. Civilly and Criminally. Second, when all else fails...I will defend my family.

I live in PG county, my town and community is amazing, you can't generalize... You sound like a scare wet mouse. Grow a pair. There are many places in PG county that are great to live in
