Today I give you six tips on how to start a minimalist wardrobe so that you don't make the same mistake I did and just throw everything out at once! Great tips! Your daughter is a natural. You too! My wardrobe colors are navy blue, gray & a little white. I do have a problem with shoes/boots right now, but there are a few pairs that I will be decluttering. I have been trying to have a year 'round wardrobe as opposed to winter & summer items. (I do live in a 4 season climate.) Like you said you can always layer clothing for more warmth. How do you like your keds? I did mention on your instagram that I have minimalist/zero drop shoes, but bought keds for summer & I really like them. I also bought the keds scout boots for snow. Haven't worn them yet, but they seem comfortable wearing around the house. Excellent video!
Thank you!! Those are great colors to have in your wardrobe, they match together easily. I also have had mostly zero drop shoes, but they can get a little expensive when I have to replace them frequently due to the rough roads here and the fact that I walk 2+ hours a day. I like the Keds they are comfortable because they have extra padding in them, but I think I definitely prefer the zero shoe because they have more room for my feet.
I find wearing dresses easy. It doesn’t matter what colors they are or patterns you just put them on and that’s it 😅

I like your tips. My colors are orange rust, beige, black, and gray. Also blue, if you count blue jeans. Everything matches and it's easy to mix and match.

Love this video! I only wear black clothes mostly because our summer always seems only a couple weeks long. We're from/live in Eastern Washington and it gets super cold during the winter on our side of the state as opposed to western WA.

I agree with, and love all of your tips, helps to make life so much easier and simple to have clothes that match each other well! Your wardrobe is an inspiration! I consider myself a minimalist, but yours is definitely more minimal than mine (I have somewhere between 40-50 items).
My colors are mostly black, maroon, gray. I have 3 knitted wool sweaters that have patterns, but they all follow that color scheme, and as I have so little patterned clothing, they mix or match with every bottom or dress I have.
For dresses, I have a black and a gray market dress. They are organic cotton, and are the base for dressing up or down in all 4 seasons. I love flexible clothes that I can do a lot with!

It's also easy when you decide that you just have colorfull shirts and the rest is very neutral or just having colorful jackets or shoes.
I just have colorful Pullovers in my winter wardrobe and the rest is very simple and plain so it makes it easy to match 😊

Hi from Denmark. I am using a weigth loss to get closer to the clothes I want to wear. I do rose, browns also beiges, off White, blues, Olive green. But I disagree with the no patterns. I feel that you can do patterns with patterns. And easier when the colours match. Binge watching your channel right now, loving it.

Thanks for another thought provoking video! I like your shoe challenge but struggle to see how I could do it. This is the shoe capsule I'm currently working towards: summer sandals, heels for work (which I leave at work), exercise/daily walking sneaker, hiking boot (won't wear as much but don't want another sprained ankle, and doubles as a gumboot), nice boot (not necessary but I do like to have a nice shoe other than my heel).
