Awesome! I've always thought that I was making a three-strand-twist but apparently I was just making a braid. I never crossed over both sections only the middle alternating left then right. Thanks I will try this.

I finally can try a 3 strand twist out because I finally understand how to do it.
I know naturals have been doing three-strand twists for a long time, but I thought it was hard to do, so I never tried it. But, after watching your demonstration, I thought I would give it a try. Your directions were very easy to follow. I did it last night and today I unraveled the twists. My twist-out is super defined and more elongated than a regular twist-out. I like it! I was about to give up on twist-outs, because they always end up looking like my wash n go hairstyles, only not as good looking. But, this is a game changer in my opinion. The only drawback is that it takes a bit longer to do and my hair does not dry as fast. Other than that, it's a winner for me! : )
I love her hair so much. I tried her aloe vera spritz and daily sealant recipes, and my hair, while nothing like hers yet, is SO much healthier. The difference is noticeable.

I tried the curl stretch gel a few weeks ago, I wasn't that impressed with my results on a regular twist out, so I returned it lol but yours looks AMAZING as usual! Maybe Ill try a 3 strand twist out soon! Thanks for sharing!

I've watched two other on three strands. This is the first one that actually enabled me to do three strand twists.
I have 4c hair and dont watch youtubers with hair types different than mines but you are the only youtuber I watch with non 4c hair. Even tho I cant achieve some looks and some products u use will just evaporate in my hair I still enjoy watching ur videos.

Hey Taylor! It gives more definition because the sections are smaller! You can't tell too much in this video because I USUALLY do such a defined two-strand FLAT-twist out, but I wanted my first try to be a "traditional" 3 strand, which means more volume, less definition. I'm definitely going to be doing this again though with my "normal" flat-twisting routine to see how it looks compared to my 2 strand flat twists! ❤️❤️❤️

Yes!!! I'm so glad you finally did this. I've given up traditional twist outs AND braid outs for 3 strand twist outs. The definition is so much better and longer lasting!!!

It's so crazy that last, I just tried the moisture recovery treatment masque and the extra moisturing transition milk from this line and if made my hair so soft! This line is definitely everything and then some! I love when you use the strings on the door knob, it really does make it very easy to understand 💚💚
