Can I program the red/blue/yellow/green buttons to search or add to favorites on IPTV ?! I’m having a heck of a time finding a remote that will do that ?
How old is uverse box? I recently got one because I was looking for a nice all-in-one remote and Amazon had it on sale for $25. When I hooked it up my old Sony VX525 VCR/DVD recorder I had to manually reassign three buttons (DVD mode, VHS mode, system menu) to the colored function keys because the default profile was spotty and didn't have those commands programmed. I'm wondering if a lot of the old legacy devices were just quickly dumped into the database without fully testing them because my Roku TV, soundbar, and 4K player all worked fine without tweaking.
I think the most important part of this specific remote is it's price. It's a good price with good functionality. Although you can get better, very few people NEED better.
Yeah, you get a lot of "smart remote" features like a programming app and input select screen for as cheap as $25 if you find a sale price and that's what makes it really cool.
Thanks for making this informative video. Starting at 4:46 you start to talk about problems with switching INPUTS. I believe you are saying that the INPUTS CANNOT BE PRESET. Is my understanding correct? If that is the case, this creates a serious problem for me. My STB is HDMI1, DVD Player is HDMI2 , Roku is HDMI3 and WII is AV1. If I can't preset INPUTS then I might as well stick with my Harmony 665. It works but It has a problem in that I have to change batteries every 2 weeks. If you have discovered anything different about PRESETTING INPUTS please share it with me. Thanks
What's your worst story you have about being there "IT Department" for your family?
instablaster.
@1:10, “...remote for that, there’s a cat”! 🤣 ...I’m wearing a hat...I can control my DAT...okay, now I’m just losing it 🤣🤪

What's the battery life on this remote?
Universal remote macros are always a little difficult to program, that's common. Once they are done, its magic

Fire TV is trash. Just get a Roku
actually no it's not
Firestick's are sooo much better than Roku. Roku is good for boomers. But Firestick can do so much more than a Roku can.
roku sucks, limited apps and no bluetooth
Get a Chomecast 2021.
