The jungle skirt... if it only has one seam, I would open that seam so you have an oblong piece of fabric. I would then use a nice black fabric to top and bottom as well as back piece. And bingo you have a bigger pillow!
Re: your newspaper comment- I was 28 in 1984. Yes, it was an interesting year to be alive and a female. I remember being referred to as a "spinster" in the legal documents of my first house purchase. It really just means "unmarried female", but I was offended because I don't think an unmarried male would have "bachelor" in his house purchase papers!
I ran into the same sort of thing here in Florida in 1994. I was married but separated from my husband and was looking for financing to buy a small home. Even though my credit was FAR better than my husband’s, I still had a devil of a time finding a lender. I feel like we would be best friends! You have such a relaxing voice and positive attitude that makes these hauls fun instead of just an advertisement. I love the idea of duping these high end fast fashion/home decor stores with existing products!!!
I went to the charity shops yesterday, got a lovely camel jacket for £2.99, some cranberry glassware, 2X Laura Ashley pillow cases for £3.99, some knitwear and a lovely candle holder. It's one of my favourite things to do, especially when you have a shopping list. Love this video!
More than half the items in my home is from thrift shops! I love thrifting so much. I’m really into the bohemian maximalist look and I wonder if you could match that style like you did in this video! :)
I love Anthropologie but it is so expensive! They have great sales though. I love the amber vase you got. I got a lovely Laura Ashley glass teapot with strainer and a Chinese mug that stacks from the Hospice shop the other day . It was still in its box. I thought it was a great buy for £3. Even better when the assistant said there were 3 packets of loose leaf tea in the box!

Yes please . Do other brands too . So interesting and inspiration
If you look online most wallpaper websites do free samples or samples pretty cheap and these usually look pretty good in frames. I got some from a designer website. I would never pay £85 a roll for paper but it's nice to have a sample, just have to find the right frame
Ohhh loved the blue glasses 😍 loved this video please do more 🧡 xx
Loved the styling 👌💕
That is hilarious, I now feel very old. I turned 21 in 1984. Things were cheaper but I remember I only earned about $12000 a year (about 6000 pounds) working fulltime in a bank - i'm in Australia. My wife and I just bought our first home 3 weeks ago and I am having a wonderful time decorating it. I would love to see an art deco or mid century modern search. I love your style your home is so pretty.
Love the prints!
Love this, so cool 😎. Thank you for another great video! ❤️ from USA 🇺🇸
Beautiful styling!
Great video. So sorry to hear of you loss xx
Great Video 💖 how about some cozy and simple scandinavian style Interieur especially Christmas decor . I like it but Most of it is so expensive. 😬
Hi just found your site can’t wait to have a good binge watch . What was the magazine you got your prints from and can u buy it in a news agents ? Xx
so glad I found your channel. Love it :)
Mid century modern please. Liked what you done in this video 👍🏾
Beautiful displays!
🌸Hermione: You're so beautiful & your hair is gorgeous. Plz don't sweat it.
🤗Love the fact that you're such a feminine girly, girl. Your home firmly reflects that vibe without being too precious or fussy. Adore your pretty vignettes as well as your color palette in crisp bright white with all those pops of pale pink & gold. It speaks to my soul.
🍥Personally, dig the fact you're not a minimalist. What you do feels fresh, eclectic & mod-cottage.
🌟Mission Accomplished!🌟Great premise of starting high-end, 🛍thrift haul & ☄final presentation achieving "look for less." Will help others learn to access gently used items with new👀eyes. 🦋 Will happily watch you scour second-hand shops for more of the same, going room by room, or after any of other decor or boutique styles mentioned here.

When me and my ex bought our house in 1988 it was £33,650. It was a two bedroom semi in a nice suburb of York.
I would love to see you thrift dupes from other stores.
I love your creativity. I was wondering, did you paint the brackets that hold your shelf gold or did you purchase them like that (gold) from IKEA?
what great finds!! I love that you made a list before going out to make your trips more thoughtful. what's your favorite BTS song?
You could put the skirt pattern in a frame!
I finished school in 1984 and started srudying in 1985. One of my (male) lecturers walked in on the first day, looked around the room, and said: "I don't know what all these girls are doing here. They will just get married and have children." That REALLY put my back up. Needless to say, 35 years later, I am married, have children and am still working. Hope the younger generation appreciates the nonsense we had to deal with! Love the shelves, Hermione.
Some great ideas. Would love to see some more vlogs
