I really like the design of the temple. Even if mojang doesn't want to add a boss fight, simply updating the old structures to be similar to this style would definitely improve them. This would make players want to explore way more and finding a temple of that size in a jungle would be an amazing adventure experience. Personally I believe Minecraft needs updated structures with better loot and more bosses in the game.
IMO it feels like they are focusing a lot on the wrong areas… we don’t need more useless mobs that literally do NOTHING, we should be getting things to add more steps for progression like what was done with netherite. Right now the jungle temple and desert temple are useless, if they used them as an actual form of progression that would really help the gameplay. I don't know what they are referencing, but for me it was a little odd that the boss spoke, considering not even the "humans" of this world (villagers) speak. Also the design was very detailed for minecraft.
One major one is that minecraft designers have gone to great length to avoid basing designs off of real life cultures like this mod does. The new villagers, specifically, have their own fashion that is almost entirely unique.
This argument is really stupid and proves a shallow understanding of how each aspect of an update is conceived, conceptualized and created in a controlled and complex environment like a company. Mojang could make 100s of updates every month that completely change the game; add hundreds of new blocks, mobs and items; add new dimensions, and so on. But that's not the point. These updates have to adhere to every type of playstyle, abide by fundamental Minecraft rules set by the developers (like "One block at a time.") and not throw off the balance of the whole entire game. They have to create updates that EVERY player likes, not just a SINGLE GROUP of players. Every single update goes through a long process of iterations, optimizations or the complete removal of certain features. Imagine this in a company with hundreds of employees, where every employee is involved in this process and hundreds if not thousands of ideas are proposed and tested to see if they make sense. Mod creators don't have this dilemma. They can create any mod and the people whose playstyle suits these mods will download them. They don't have to ask "Will this make X obsolete?" or "Will this make Y too overpowered?". They simply don't have to because there is the opt-in & opt-out ability. Dude i actually hate how much better his updates are than mojangs. It just confuses me how we wait months for an update and the boss serves zero purpose and drops nothing and is a glorified evil iron golem but this guy does it better in 7 days
Not to be that guy, but the Tiki mask and obsidian club are from two totally distinct cultures (Polynesian and Aztec). It would have been a little better if you'd stuck with one jungle society theme that wasn't just a mish mash of typical images of a "jungle society." Maybe you can revise this idea with more creative flair. For example, a non-distinct grassy monster or a god of some sort. idk just a thought.
Only if Minecraft devs put this much work into getting updates done with quality and getting it done fast instead of 1 new little thing a year. Minecraft devs take notes.
This is all very cool but instead of mending water, I think the sparkling water should be a fountain of youth type thing where it give the player regeneration, and can revert mobs to baby forms.
I think it would be cool if you upgraded a bunch of different places, and then had each individual one give you a different color eye of ender. Eventually you will have to have an eye from every different naturally spawning, hostile location.

Thank you for the sub, and welcome! Be sure to let me know how it goes when you try it out in survival. I'd be interested to hear if anyone can beat it without dying their first time.
This was the dopest mc boss fight ive seen. Real historical reference, multiple stage attacks, minions, seemless design and gave me that temple of doom feel. Very well done sir.
Really wish mojang sees this and can figure something out with more people of the community. Alot of people create such cool things for the game that would be so cool to have in the standard game! Amazing work
When you make videos like this, can you address why the devs need much more time for updates to combat minecraft "fans" that have that attitude of "well this guy did it in 7 days, why does mojang take a year for less content?" its cool you're doing these.
The devs don't need more time. They're a multi-billion dollar dev team with more than 50x the manpower than this RUclips. Dickeating a corporation will never get them to work harder.
I think the better option for taking over the voicelines would be battle music which we haven’t heard almost ever in Minecraft, it would be cool to even have the boss be a statue that is fixed in place but follows the player through its head only. Also I could see things like a Mayan death whistle being an item that could summon a skeleton horse with exclusive armor which would cost 1-2 xp levels to summon but it would last 2 Minecraft days.
whats up every time since you commented on my comment and tolled me about 3d models I've been practicing and I think I've been doing well and I hope I can get to your level one day

Keep on practicing and make sure you save your work somewhere safe so you can look back on it and see how far you've come. The future you will be happy that you did. Good luck, I believe in you!
I started with datapacks since I figured they'd be easier, and they are for most things. But I'm starting to feel limited by it. I mainly do Java development at work, so the switch wouldn't be too bad. For some reason, I get the impression that people are more impressed by datapacks than mods, but maybe I'm wrong about that. I'm on the fence, honestly.
It would be so nice if instead of being normal maxed out villagers they gave you enchanted books of higher levels. Like Protection V, efficiency VI, Sharpness VI… it would make them more useful Edit: also, you said it locks you inside the temple. Is it just the fences or does it change your game mode to adventure mode so you can’t break them?
So uhm- I think there's a reason MC dungeons used an evil tree monster as the main boss of it's jungle temple; but otherwise this is really creative, I'd love to see other boss ideas you have
@@gatunho0202 actually it’s not. As a team gets bigger there are more people. Making it slower to communicate between people in mojang. Everything has to be near perfect before full realese and a lot of thing don’t make it because of bad disign or lack of ideas. There’s also bug fixing and play testing which can take up a lot of time. And the bigges of them all, they have to make it both for bedrockand Java. @@Whimzee needs a painting with little aztecs throwing their armor and a diamond into a lake so the mechanic is explained.
Anvils get more expensive as you use it, eventually becoming impossibly so
I am really happy that you started coding entities to the game too
Tbh i think you if you continue with what you are doing you can get a good big datapack with All your datapacks in it that adds variety of content and fun
And even you can start like your own server with those datapacks
The learning curve for entities wasn't as bad as I thought tbh. Still probably the most difficult thing to code for, but also really fun and rewarding. Having a server with all these datapacks is actually the goal! I'm going to start thinking about how they all work together.
Please make a server soon.
@@decimatestudios7686don’t do that. Begging for things soon is how we end up with clusterfucks on release like No Man’s Sky and Cyberpunk, and many others. It will come. Just be patient. ❤

The boss is the leader of an indegenan tribe like fat one in meowzie, the difference, the only difference is the little ones mask shape and pattern, but they are basically the same.
The big ones mask grants the player the hability to summon little ones ant solar/lunar powers.
This guy is a hidden gem on RUclips. Serious talent. I think there should be traps in the temple since that’s a main feature in the actual temple. Other than that really good djob
I'm surprised you didn't explain more cool things about Sizin during the fight to Ekmani. If I'm ever proud of something I create, I can't help but explain the cool things immediately! This is seriously cool! I'm really glad I found your channel while I'm currently in the process of teaching myself to code, because stuff like this is such an inspiration!
This is the best Minecraft content I’ve seen for a long while, well done! Super entertaining Vid!
I can see why Mojang wouldn't add this, but this does look like a Minecraft Dungeons boss fight
"full of arrows" the last barrel had 6 in total, thats probably 3% or less of the boss health
Dude i actually hate how much better his updates are than mojangs. It just confuses me how we wait months for an update and the boss serves zero purpose and drops nothing and is a glorified evil iron golem but this guy does it better in 7 days
11:41 why this fire tho🔥
Ik
Not to be that guy, but the Tiki mask and obsidian club are from two totally distinct cultures (Polynesian and Aztec). It would have been a little better if you'd stuck with one jungle society theme that wasn't just a mish mash of typical images of a "jungle society." Maybe you can revise this idea with more creative flair. For example, a non-distinct grassy monster or a god of some sort. idk just a thought.
I’m so glad I found your channel. This is top quality content. Keep up the good work!
This looks so good, Mojang really need to add more stuff like this.
Only if Minecraft devs put this much work into getting updates done with quality and getting it done fast instead of 1 new little thing a year.
Minecraft devs take notes.
Bro I saw your post on Reddit and this is so freaking amazing my guy! I love the the overall concept of your jungle boss :P
Keep it up my guys!
Welcome, fellow redditor, very happy to hear you liked it!
I KNEW I'D SEEN IT SOMEWHERE I WAS GETTING MAD DÉJÀ VU
I love that the boss says "TO XIBALBA!", it reminds me of the Road to El Dorado.
the mayans did not mainly sacrifice nobility lol. It was mostly enemy soldiers, their slaves, or random townspeople.
5:30 POV: you have nauseas effects off so your screen just turned green
This is the first video I've seen by you and DUDE, the boss fight is SO COOL! My mind is blown, thank you.
This is so cool!!
Holy cow the production value on this video is insane how do you only have 16k subs! This makes my videos look like poo poo!
This is all very cool but instead of mending water, I think the sparkling water should be a fountain of youth type thing where it give the player regeneration, and can revert mobs to baby forms.
2:38 I love how the sun just lines up perfectly
This is amazing! I've watched this multiple times and I'm still so impressed. You're very talented! ❤
This is awesome. It looks like a boss out of a AAA game.
Thank you :)
AAA can't even reach this quality. This man has no budget and exceeds billion dollar corpos work.
@Splarkszter And he even makes things faster
I think it would be cool if you upgraded a bunch of different places, and then had each individual one give you a different color eye of ender. Eventually you will have to have an eye from every different naturally spawning, hostile location.
That sounds really cool
Just beautiful 🔮
Gives me vibes from a 90s Fantasy RTS or RPG. I love it. Great work!
this guy: i make a entire update in 7 days🗿
Mojang/ MICROSOFT/ONE OF THE MOST POWERFULL COMPANIES IN THE WORLD: we work for 8 months and now you have a glowing squid and wood :D
this is worth the subscribe and the like button! Good Job :D
Mine craft is already an incredible game. Possibly the best. But I’ve always felt there was something missing. I think this kind of content is exactly that. This gives me crash bandicoot vibes as well which is super cool! Excellent work!! I can’t wait to try this out!!
Thanks man, I appreciate it! It's hands down the best sandbox game, especially since Mojang designed it in a way that people like me can add things like this.
@@Whimzee i agree, not many games allow you to add such creative stuff like this to the game. good job making the datapack man
Man mojang needs to learn from this guy he’s insane! You earned a sub man!
this is the quality i expect from youtubers with millions of subs. i can't believe how good this is. great job!
I cant believe you can come up with these ideas, definitely subscribing, love ur vids
Just earned a sub from me. I found this via reddit and I can't wait to see what you make next! Definitely going to give this one a try when I play survival again.
Thank you for the sub, and welcome! Be sure to let me know how it goes when you try it out in survival. I'd be interested to hear if anyone can beat it without dying their first time.
Why isn't this guy a developer in Minecraft????
This is amazing man! Minus the voice lines, I could totally see this in the actual game!
I'm so glad that this guy's not in charge of minecraft updates
Such a highly underrated youtube channel!! Hope you get a million subs soon!!
Imagine what he could do in 14 days, 30 days, or even a year 😲🤯
with a billion dollar company throwing money at him!
This was the dopest mc boss fight ive seen. Real historical reference, multiple stage attacks, minions, seemless design and gave me that temple of doom feel. Very well done sir.
"TO XIBALBA!"
Really awesome how everything in this datapack has genuine historical reference. Really cool stuff!
Really wish mojang sees this and can figure something out with more people of the community. Alot of people create such cool things for the game that would be so cool to have in the standard game! Amazing work
Its crazy this isn't even a mod. This is all done with _datapacks,_ which is just baffling!
Hey guys, can somebody tell me the name of the background music at 6:40? I've heard it already, I think, but I don't know when.
Nevermind, I just used AI to extract it and 'Shazamed' it: Searching for the Island - David Celeste
When you make videos like this, can you address why the devs need much more time for updates to combat minecraft "fans" that have that attitude of "well this guy did it in 7 days, why does mojang take a year for less content?"
its cool you're doing these.
The devs don't need more time. They're a multi-billion dollar dev team with more than 50x the manpower than this RUclips. Dickeating a corporation will never get them to work harder.
It hurt my soul that you mixed Aztec and Mayan cultures, but that's only because I'm a history nerd. Your update looks amazing
dude, thats sick, keep it up!!! greetings from Romania
I think the better option for taking over the voicelines would be battle music which we haven’t heard almost ever in Minecraft, it would be cool to even have the boss be a statue that is fixed in place but follows the player through its head only.
Also I could see things like a Mayan death whistle being an item that could summon a skeleton horse with exclusive armor which would cost 1-2 xp levels to summon but it would last 2 Minecraft days.
whats up every time since you commented on my comment and tolled me about 3d models I've been practicing and I think I've been doing well and I hope I can get to your level one day
That makes me really happy since one of my goals for the channel is to get others excited to make their own creations. Keep on practicing and make sure you save your work somewhere safe so you can look back on it and see how far you've come. The future you will be happy that you did. Good luck, I believe in you!
BRO that's so *COOL* BTW if you are a software engineer then why do you make datapacks not mods
Great question btw
@@Whimzee thanks
@@Whimzee I mean yeah I was also impressed by that Armor stand having "white dye" thing
Mojang typically avoids voice acting and mimicking real life cultures so this is a pretty unvanilla mod, but the concept of a jungle boss is smart.
This looks really cool! Good job man!
It would be so nice if instead of being normal maxed out villagers they gave you enchanted books of higher levels. Like Protection V, efficiency VI, Sharpness VI… it would make them more useful
Edit: also, you said it locks you inside the temple. Is it just the fences or does it change your game mode to adventure mode so you can’t break them?
bro made alot compared to what mojang employees does in a year
So uhm- I think there's a reason MC dungeons used an evil tree monster as the main boss of it's jungle temple; but otherwise this is really creative, I'd love to see other boss ideas you have
This is amazing! Minecraft needs more boss fights like this.
I really think that Mojang should do this, but only complaint is that you can not take the macuahuitl as boss loot.
I wish they make jungle temples better. Like, the rewards are trash
Yeah the rewards aren't useful if you've been playing the game for more than 2 hours.
I appreciate your work but why would you combine hawaiian and aztec culture just bc "they're jungle"?? Might aswell give them indian clothes right?
i agree this guy has absolutely no self awareness of what he did mashing cultural aesthetics together with no reason.. ugh
bro made a better game than minecraft devs
The spring is actually a beatiful idea, imagine having an infinity bow and the only way to repair it is to find a jungle temple
Bro could probably have 4 updates done by himself by the time mojang can reskin the wood for the 1000th time for the next update
8:59 calm down (jk)
i like it, but not the voice of the boss, i think actual words doesn't fit minecraft. Like even villagers cant say a word, why would boss do so?
He should say "OOGA BOOGA!" so that the players die laughing and have to restart
@@glassofwater281 because that wouldnt seem weirdly racially motivated at all
@@quoipi💀
its just sad that this is better then real minecraft updates
I'm speechless. I think you should start leading Mojang. Your creations are so cool!!! ❤
Mojang needs to hire this guy
Why cant mojang be like this
There’s a big difference between a one man team ,and a team of 100 people. A lot of things that you idiots don’t see.
@@jonasg.bisgaard1086the difference is that it's easier with 100 people
@@gatunho0202 actually it’s not. As a team gets bigger there are more people. Making it slower to communicate between people in mojang. There fore it takes more time to come up with ideas because more people have to agree on an update. There are more rules to followe than if you were working alone. Everything has to be near perfect before full realese and a lot of thing don’t make it because of bad disign or lack of ideas. There’s also bug fixing and play testing which can take up a lot of time. And the bigges of them all, they have to make it both for bedrockand Java. The only thing that’s faster is te time it takes to code it in to the game. Idiots like you will not see these things and just say brain dead things like that.
@@jonasg.bisgaard1086 You understand nothing about coding.
More people means more efficiency on coding, because you can separate functions between people.
For example, one do the raw coding, and one do the bug fixing, and one do the testing, etc.
In practically all work environments, more people means more efficiency at work, you have to have a gigantic lack of cognitive capacity to not understand this.
@@jonasg.bisgaard1086 Everything you say is just excuses to defend the laziness of Mojang.
