- How to make a taco kydex holster press. Make your own kydex holster press and make your own hilsters at home.
4 normal home door hinges.
Two pieces of 3/4 inch plywood cut 12 inches by 12 inches.
Three 2x4s cut to 12 inches in length.
Two pieces of 3/4 inch plywood cut to 1 3/4 quarter inch wide by 12 inches.
Two 7 inch by 12 inch prices of 3/4 inch plywood.
Two 1 7/8ths by 4 inch prices of 3/4 inch plywood.
600lb quick clamp.
Some Kydex Holster making foam.
Various screws.

thanks for the video. i wouldve had mine together a lot faster if id bought the right sized hardware the first time lol i have enough supplies to build a second press so im going to do that soon. my holsters are coming out way better now than what ive been using.
Great video! Was able to make it with scraps and buying 4 hinges for $5. I never thought about the gym flooring for the outside foam and I had some extra of that too.
Great video! Just curious, what is the thickness of ur white foam?
Why did you feel it necessary to make the holster two layers thick? Not being a smart alec I would really like to understand why folks are doing this?

Trying to move beyond the boring and give you what you would need to build one without wasting a lot of your time. Did I not give enough information to get you started.
Are you using Kydex foam for the sides and then a bigger peice of Kydex foam to taco the gun in, or are the pieces on the sides a stronger foam?
@@TheJamesdaubney What I attached to the wood sides is the foam flooring for a workout room. It cones in 3 feet by 3 feet squares and it interlocks with each peice like a jigsaw puzzle, We had some left over from the floor. Mating like in a gym. I cut it. It is 12 inch tuff foam. I think we got it from Acedemy sports.
