So I'm 56 years old and have lived in NY and am a fan of our Skins since I was 9. 45 years. My favorite QB, was Joe Theisman, my favorite team probably the '82 Redskins. The Hogs, the fun Bunch, the Smurfs. Best Defense probably '91.HTTR!! Great show, great content keep up the excellent show.
I was fortunate enough at 16 years old to be in the stadium when they annihilated the Lions in the NFC Championship in the 1991 season. Second play of the game, Charles Mann comes off the edge and forces a Kramer fumble and the Skins recover at the 10. That place exploded and the stadium literally shook. I'll never forget it.
do you remember why he ran his head into the wall? im 47 and wasnt it he scored that touchdown in overtime against the cardinals to win our fitst game at jack kent cook stadium?
The '83 team was amazing to watch. The counter-trey was working in the running and the passing game like magic. The defense had playmakers everywhere. IIRC, +45 turnover difference. Just the Raiders had perfect gameplan in the Super Bowl. Favorite QB would be Sunny Jurgenson (Okay, I was too young to remember any of his playing days, but he was a legend around town long after his playing days for calling the radio broadcasts.)
isnt it just so easy for washington and detroit fans to root for one another? Both have amazing and humble fan base. hope to see you guys oin the championship HAIL
A 1991 nfc championship repeat would be awesome. As a Washington fan either side could win and id still be happy. Im still in the "just happy to be here" category. 😂
Jones always plays us hard. I consider division games different beasts than other games regardless of records. Battle of the Dans in the NFC Championship?

The 1991 team is considered by some as the best team ever assembled. No joke..look it up!!
Correct...1st in Overall Offense and 2nd in Overall Defense!! 💪🏼
a few years ago NFL put out an article ranking best teams of all time and the 91 team was 1st

I can't believe I'm not the only one who remembers the Frerotte head butt. Absolutely brutal!
I definitely remember
Yep - us old timers can't forget it

You are not the only one, I remember that dumb crazy head butt. You can see what happened to his career.
As a Washington fan, respect, glad to see both our teams doing good
as a Redskins fan i love lions fans they are one of the most respectful fan in the nfl in my book
91 was my favorite team! mark rypen was my fav QB! Any game with sean taylor was my favorite

The 1991 Redskins were a powerhouse and one of if not the greatest team in NFL history. That team never gets the credit they deserve.
Players now want to come play here hopefully we could swing a trade for a corner and edge run stopper. Free agency is gonna be fun
Touch wood on the last injury comments don’t want to jinks the kid
91 was also the year I graduated! Dougie Williams was the man. HTTC
I was born 10 months after the 1992 Super Bowl. My favorite team before this one was RGIII (obviously before the turf monster ate his knee).
Any reason the patriots are on that blanket\tapestry in the background twice?
1991 team. Greatest team of all time
I was born 2003 so this year is the best I saw at first it was rg3 year

Division gams are just different.
Let us trade for a corner or 2 tomorrow and watch us play the Bills in the super bowl this year
Correction, the 96 Redskins ended up 9-7 and missed the playoffs
