Its wild to think there are other gen z kids like me, thought i was the only one. Truly a shame there arent more though.
It is very concerning in Christian circles when I hear these euphemisms of "I gave myself to Christ," I prayed the Lord would come into my life," "I came to Christ," etc. It is disconcerting to see people who speak boldly against worldly powers, but be timid and weak when it comes to very plain scripture when it comes to the plan of salvation. It is very very simple. "Repent and be baptised for the forgiveness of sin!" If you only have acknowledged the Lordship of Jesus then sadly, you are on the same level as the demons who also recognize the Lord, but are not saved. Remember, Mathew 7: 21-23 is not talking to unbelievers. It is talking to people who claim the Lord but did not obey the Word.
Matthew 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
There is nothing more sad and no more destructive plan of the enemy than this false theology that you can receive salvation by only saying a prayer or coming to a belief in Jesus. For those that vehemently deny baptism as a "work," you have not understood that baptism is not something you do, it is something done TO YOU. It would be analogous to having sever heart disease being close to death and then receiving a heart transplant. Likewise repenting of your sin and undergoing baptism is a twofold process. Repenting is the process of turning away from sin and acknowledging Jesus as Lord and baptism puts us into contact with his blood via the death burial and resurrection. Please do not listen to the false prophets who teach that baptism is not necessary. They are leading you away to destruction. The scripture is very clear and nowhere does it teach affermation salvation.
Water baptism is not necessary for salvation today.
The Apostle Paul said to the Body of Christ in 1 Corinthians 1:7,
"For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power."
I believe in the gospel of grace, that Jesus' blood, shed on the cross, was shed for the sins of the world. Your sins, my sins, Hitler's sins, and even the sins that were already past at the time of the crucifiction, as mentioned in James. Adam's transgression could only be forgiven because of Christ's sacrifice, thousands of years after Adam had already died. Indeed, no one can reach the Father except through Christ. I trust that His work is sufficient, and that my very best works are as filthy rags in God's eyes.
Since you quoted Matthew 7:21 through 23, you must have noticed that those being denied entry are not being rejected because they didn't have wonderful good works - they did. They didn't have salvation and lose it, because He says that He never knew them. They simply didn't do the will of the Father in heaven. What is the Father's will? That we believe in His Son.
John 6:28&29 - Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
May God lead you into that trust in His Son. I'll be praying for you.

You are correct! But I was actually talking about Moses.
The new moon theory actually stumped me as a high school student who knew very little about the Bible. It felt like a reasonable explanation until I realized how drastically the lifespan of mankind changed after the flood.
By the time we get to Moses- who is credited with writing the Torah- we find that he fled Egypt at the age of 40, lead then Israelites out of slavery when he was 80, and died when he reached 120 years old. If we are counting every new moon as a year, these big events happened when he was 3, 6,5 and 10 years old respectively. I said 12, so I was a bit generous.
If creation was true you wouldn't have to try so hard to make it believable. It's funny how no legitimate scientists agree with you.
Sadly, there are a lot of false ideas that are mainstream and widely believed. That doesn’t make them any more true. Broad is the way that leads to destruction. That means that the majority are believing the wrong things.
I disagree. There are "legitimate scientists" who agree with ICR's position that our planet & consequently our solar system, milky way galaxy, the known universe and beyond are young. The following scientists have done the research in each of their respective fields and the evidence that they are producing and / or publishing in journal publications is astounding. Dr Jason Lisle, astrophysicist, Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson, Harvard-trained research biologist, Dr. Tim Clarey, geologist, Dr. Henry Morris, Engineer, Dr. Duane Gish, biochemist, etc..I hope this piques your interest. It's worth checking up on the research that is out there. We just need to know where to look.
