@@bradylewis9698 her husband is the lead guitarist, but you're right about everything else. She just got married to Josh and they had their first child at the time, so she stepped down from Flyleaf because she wanted to be home with her growing family and be a full-time mom.
I love my female artists that can scream. I remember the first time I heard this song and I heard Lacey Sturm scream and it literally changed my life. I was just a kid who was raised on so much rock but for the first time, I was like, “Wow, _I_ could do that?” You are an inspiration and are amazing and please keep doing what you’re doing

I’ve seen her cover this song, live, twice over the last 3 years. She actually covers a lot of her Flyleaf hits.
I realize she just released a softer album, but she’s still an intense rocker at heart. I honestly think it’s more difficult now as she is older and has worked her vocal cords over. I’ve noticed lately, on videos, she has been doing a lot of acoustic versions of those classic Flyleaf songs.
Life Screams was her first post-Flyleaf album in 2016. It’s still pretty classic, old-school Lacey.
