Punk was a bigger influence on black metal than Black Sabbath was, it always amazes me how more do not get this. But also just like black metal, punk was commercialized and turned into a joke. But the real punk, GBH, Discharge, Gism, these are the bands that directly influenced everyone from Celtic Frost to Dark Throne.
For some reason I thought you already had an interview with Azazel. Guess I'm mistaken 'cus I can't find it now anyway. Don't know that much music from them, only really know them from Flames of Gehennah and similiar appearances. Good to see you returning to the natural habitat of doing these in person. However I will stand by the fact that some of those "zoom" interviews were great (espcially the one with Holocausto from Beherit). Keep doing the good work, I'll bother you about Deus Mortem in a few months again and one of these days you will have (hopefully) run into some of their stuff in your pile of endless blasphemy.

Necro is terrific live aswell Jerry (he's played with a bunch of bands, Plaga one I know he did somewhat recently). Necro writes such good music, I love what he did in Thunderbolt and Deus Mortem is just that much better.
That Azazel-The Night of Satatachia is a great album! Though I've see GG Allin interviews (when he is totally wasted) that were easier to follow! lol! Satanachia seems like the Finnish GG, but he hates Punk? That is hilarious! Great interview!
