I have the Flow Velocity Wind 1. I enjoy it for temp runs but the firmness is both a blessing and a downside for me. I like how I could connect with the ground and feel the road, trail beneath me but I did experience foot fatigue in runs approaching and exceeding 21km. I'd say it's best suited for distances up to 10 - 15km and going at a tempo pace. Durability, stability, lightness and good ground contact resulting in a more natural running motion are this shoes main selling points. Surprisingly the sole was better than some of my full rubber shoes for running in the rain. Grip in this was great but the upper sure does like to soak up water. The coaching and analytics you receive are a nice bonus. Thanks for reviewing the 2nd iteration Kieran. I think I'll stick to my 1st gen for now,
Hi Mohamed, we'd definitely say it's not worth investing in a 2 if you already have the 1. And when the time comes to get new shoes, if the 1 is still around at knock down, go for that.
After I break in my Wind 2 yesterday, feeling was unbelievable; they hunger for speed so much like I felt my pace didn't give them justice. Now I want to run faster. This never happened before.
I wonder how it compares with it's sister shoe the Flow Velocity SE that appears to have a knit upper. I do prefer the puma velocity nitro over the UA given the more responsive and softer but still firm midsole
I think the primary difference between the two is the absence of the “smart shoe” features in the SE. that would explain the price difference, as well.
These are so comfortable! I do wish UA would make better running shoes though. I work for UA and get a great discount lol 😂 so it’s much better on my pockets EDIT: I will add that I wish UA still made the Gemini 2 ! Such a great all around shoe.
Hi, what about the true to size? I bougth the first one and not true to size. I think that in in the firts edition i need a half or may be 1 size more.
I ordered a pair of the original pair of these as were at a good discount (about £85) recently but they came up very short (I am a UK 13 so no half size options) so I had to send back. The insole was physically long enough but the heel padding threw you too far forward and effectively shortened the shoe. On researching this further seems to have been a known issue. You didn't call out any issues here or any differences between the two versions so I wonder if this still will be a problem? Does seem very overpriced though at £140.
I go to cardio boxing where you do all the boxing movements and then other jumping and running.. there was not a better shoe than this.i can't use anything else.

Can This be used for aerobics class or should I consider phantom series ???
@@VamsidharD I'm not sure for aerobics specifically but it's light and comfortable for constant movements.
I personally think these are different than the first. They seem to be a little wider and fit more true to size.
Bring back the podcast
I like that it is light but it's flat overtoes, could be toebox is a little hard.
I just bought it on sale for 80$. i think it was a really good price
This the Sonic 5 and a Sprint Spike is a great Track team Kit
Sounds great, would be nice if you could use this with zwift instead of a foot pod
Hi, how do these compare to the Velociti SE's? What are the differences?
Thank you!

It has carbon plate or not ?
This shoe with that color way seems it was made for a Brazilian sport team.
It's a nice looking shoe when it's clean!
Can the sensor pair with a garmin watch?
yes it can, I have

Are you sure about the true to size? I bougth the first Version and It was extremly tight.

this or Nova Blast 2? Both around 100€. THanks
I have a bad left knee is cushion better for it??
Whats your favourite running shoe in the uk right now? 😀

Didn't find any of those issues with either in our testing. Maybe we have short feet though.
@@TheRunTesters ah thanks for confirming. Maybe I had a duff one but the only shoe have ever had to send back in my “TTS” that wasn’t!
Is this shoe okay for basketball? Because its outsole is flow like steph curry flow shoes
It’s a running shoe, basketball shoes will give you ankle support which this one does not have it . ✌🏼
Would you say it is a similar ride to the Beacon 1 & 2?
Beacon 2 is much lighter

Wow thanksss for information I do boxing also 😁😁😁
$160 way too much for me.
When you consider the shoes it's up against at that price, it suffers by comparison.
Puma volocity Nitro and Nike Pegasus 38 which is best ? for daily road running please reaply 🙏
Velocity Nitro.
First. Also I've always wanted to try out a pair of trainers from UA.
Hi Kyle, these would be one of our top UA recommendations for sure.
no carbon plate?
No. Not here.
