38:59 was my guess. I love that you actually sounded like you were working hard. So many other channels where the host is trying for a PB and they hardly look strained by the end.
Big thank you to TRC - I raced my first 10K yesterday, whilst seriously under the weather. Binge watched TRC content the night before for inspiration and managed to beat my target time by c3 mins! (and got my 3rd fastest 10k, fastest since 2020).
I'm a 60 year old new runner (10 months) with three 10k under my belt. Also been 5st weight loss in that time. Trying to run under 60 minutes on 13th April at Tatton (best in 63m). This video has been unbelievably inspiring Jess. So amazing to see how hard you work. I reckon you'll run 38:42....good luck!!
As someone who just got into running in January the idea of running 4min km’s is like the holy grail. Running anything faster than 5km for 800meters is a struggle. Congrats on the run Jess, yourself and this channel have become a great motivator
The recent 10k female runner's PB I know is 29 minutes. Now how do you, guys feel (men/women)? And Jess, you just need to reduce the time 2 min since talking not too Much while training, yup. 28, this was my recent second split half, if there's any question about me, about running. Thank you,,,, 🌡 this morning.... (1 day later), Better sleep, after 🤔all.
That was awesome. I have a 10k event in May. After watching this video I did exactly what you did and ran 45:50. Thank you so much Jess and to everyone at the running channel.
Nice effort! Im going to say 38:29 you can do it! Sub 38:30 is within reach! I wear everything under armor, except my shoes. Never been able to try them! This channel has helped me develop from a non runner to someone training for my first half marathon! Ran 5 miles yesterday for the 2nd time ever!
Great video Jess and TRC, really liked hearing about how you started your running journey and what keeps you going. I think you’ve got sub 38:30 well within sight!
I think you will run a 39.48. Thank you for showing us that heavy breathing is normal I'm always very conscious of what I sound like when I'm pushing it.
You are incredibly fast already, Jess. I think you will get below 39:30. Every second in your speeds is a massive improvement, so remember to keep on being proud of yourself.
38:52 is my prediction, best of luck Jess! I was impressed with you ability to talk during this time trail, maybe don't do that for your PB attempt and you'll easily knock off the seconds/minutes!
I have followed the running channel for 2 years. This video motivated me and gave me more courage that I started running as a disabled person that no one took notice off. Today Im well respected in the running community. Well done Jess and the team. I think you will get 37:47. I have confidence that you will shave off 2:30 mins.
Great run and most inspiring video. I guess that you could've done a sub-40 with this outing, already, had it not been for all the talking! 😂 Thanks for taking us along. I was real frazzled by the end - that's how engaging you were. Great edit and overall production. You've got it and will easily smash through your PB; even a sub 36:36!
Think you’re one of those runners that look like you’re running slow, but you’re actually going really fast.. I unfortunately have the opposite problem 🙃 thanks for sharing.
I'm doing a 10k Sunday, needed these reminders. I'm not in pb shape, rebuilt my base fitness after injury, love TRC it's helped me become a better runner. Your 10k time will be 37:53. You'll smash your pb!!
Awesome effort. I believe that with a good training plan you will go under 39 minutes. The trainers do look amazing, I’m going to have to see the review because I’ve never considered Under Armour for running before today.
Awesome job and so inspiring! I think you definitely have a sub 38 in you, think it's just going to take switching gears from endurance work to more speed. So my guess is 37:42 for your next attempt. But what ever time you end up you will be amazing! Also look forward to seeing what you do as might use some of that for my 1/2 marathon PB attempt in June. (trying for sub 2hrs on a very hilly race)
I remember (long time ago) running a 36:36 for the 10km. Was all about the breathing rythym, form, pain tolerance and focus on a point about 30 metres ahead. Did feel like flying though! I'd made just over 40 minutes the week before and was aiming for sub 40. Many years later, I'm aiming for a sub 45 this year, dreaming of the speed of my youth. You're going to smash this Jess, enjoy your training block and I'm sure you will blow away your PB.
So glad I discovered this channel and this video! Jess is very inspirational. I just ran a 10K race and have a long way to go to reach Jess's pace, but I am motivated to put in the training like her. :) I bet she will achieve 38:30 after her training!
With 12 weeks of training to go - my guess is 38:40. Its bloody hard to shave time off when you're this quick, Im very impressed by how strong you are. Im doing my first 10k in a decade this spring and find your content hugely motivational (you're a bit quicker than me and its really inspiring too!). I hope you put out heaps more content. Always great to see your videos 🙂
I really like that the presenters show that even they sometimes struggle and have the same doubts as any other person trying to get a PB. I think she will eventually do her 10k in 36:46
Jess is the absolute best addition to TRC - she’s on a level that is so inspiring to watch and way beyond what I could achieve right now, but her character is so likeable and approachable that we feel like she’s one of us. I bet she’ll get a 38:14
Awesome. I'm signed up for my first 10k later this year so I'll be following this with interest. I liked your mentality and motivation tips too. With 12 weeks of focus you can squeeze that time down. I'll say 37.37 over 10k for you. Sub 50min is what I'm aiming for.
I've got a 10km race coming up this weekend and hope to finally get below 40 minutes. On a similar note, I wish you luck on your training and I reckon you'll get somewhere in the 38 minute range by the end, let's say 38:35! All the best.
Wow! Respect to you Jess. Time trial on your own, without music and giving a commentary?!!? That would have been sub-40 without a doubt if you didn’t have all those disadvantages. 100% you’ll get below 39 mins barring injuries so I’m saying low 38. Go Jess!!!!
Jess you’re going to kill it! I think you’ll hit a PB for sure. 38:45 is my guess of where you’ll end up, you’ve got the grit and tenacity to smash it.
You've hit the nail on the head about changing your mindset. I'm struggling a lot at the moment to have the confidence just to enter races because I think I won't do well and so it'll be a waste of time. I would love to run a sub 40 10km but my mind is just not there yet. Predicting you'll get it in 38:52.
Jeez, Jess!! Amaazing job - and it's just the start.... I could quite literally feel your struggle in the last kms🙈👏👏 Great effort and time!! With this determination I bet you can go for 38:19 💪🏃♀️🏃♀️Go, get it!!👍
Amazing effort, just did my first marathon last week and am doing a 10k at the end of the month, this channel has been great inspiration. The time I think you'll get is 39:40
Well done Jess! I've been injured for over a year and just trying to ease back into it after a hip injury feels like I'll never get back to a faster pace but i'm grateful just to be able to run again atm! I always say come on at the end of a really tough run too like you if I'm flat out 😂 you'll smash it and get sub 40 very very soon! X
I was able to do asub 40 min 10k about 40yrs ago. Unsurprisingly its a little higher than that now but coming down due to the great content and advice from TRC. And now I get to live it all again vicariously - thanks guys and gals - my prediction 38:00
Great effort Jess, your reaction shows how much you gave throughout that 10km, with 12 weeks to focus on improvements I'd say you'll definitely get sub 39mins, then with the extra push you'll get come race I'm saying you'll get 38:25
Wow I’m in awe of your speed (whilst still being able to talk!!!)! But I’m guessing a 38:39 as your finishing time in a couple of weeks, which is a ridiculous time 🤯. You can do it!!!!
Wow! Jess is such a machine! I would love to do a 10k under an hour let alone 40mins! 🤯😂 Good luck Jess in your training, I think you’ll do your 10k in 38:37
I’m doing a 10k test around the same park later this week. I need an up to date 10k time for to calibrate a COROS fitness test. I don’t think I’ll be able to manage this pace though. Well done.
Well done 👍 Jess I can see you put your Heart ❤️ and soul in that Training session and I can absolutely agree with what you were saying about doing it for yourself, Run your own Race and change your mindset from a negative thought of mind to a positive, I have struggled with my mindset and never thought I would smash ❗ a 5k parkrun 🌳 in under 20 mins, but I did 19.45 and you will also with that positive mental thinking. Your 10k Race time I think 💬 will be 39.40👍
Awesome race Jess. I’m positive you would achieved your PB today as you had to run and present the show. I think you could achieve a new PB of 38 minutes 57 seconds 😊
I'll be following your progress with great interest. I'm currently training for a marathon but once that is done, I'm going to focus on shorter races, too. I'm going to look for inspiration in your training. I have run under 45 several times, but never under 44 so that's the next goal. I think you'll be running a 38:38 in 12 weeks.
How amazing for a benchmark run! Love watching these videos and seeing the hard work and subsequent improvement - these help keep me motivated with my running too! Really enjoyed the mindset chat on this one too - very relatable. I think Jess will be able to do this in 38:30 !
If Jess has already run a 39 minute 10k, I think she can definitely knock another 90 seconds or more off of that, so I’ll say 37:20! Excited to see more of this training, I’m planning on focusing on a 10k next spring after a couple of half marathons this year
Jess, you can definitely go sub 40, even sub 39. I reckon your final time will be 38:06. Always encouraging Pacing is king. If I try to pace myself in a race or pb attempt it sometimes goes well, sometimes it doesn't. What I've learnt about myself is I push my body the best when I'm following a session from Runna.
After my HM (1:33:19) training 2 years back I went out and did 5k and 10k PBs, Tried my first real 5K effort, finished in 18:59, then the 10k in 40:09 (the rolling hills got to me). After the spring marathon I'm going to go after all of them again. I think you're going to smash it in 38:13.
I think you can get it down to 38min. Thats a strong baseline to be starting from already! I'm about to run my first ever marathon and plan to work on my 10km time after that so it will be good to see how the training goes!
I love the element around all we need to be is better than we were yesterday. In an age over social media comparisons all we need to be doing is comparing ourselves to where we were yesterday. You’ve got this - 38:00 you will smash it
I dont want to add to the pressure mentioned in this video, but given that you were so close on this run, and without your music, and having to talk to camera, you can dedinitrly break 40 minutes again! :) 12 weeks will fly by, enjoy as much as you can!
39:12 I'm amazed that you can talk at that pace! 🙌🏻
38:59 was my guess. I love that you actually sounded like you were working hard. So many other channels where the host is trying for a PB and they hardly look strained by the end.

@@ZeldaFitz"before you know it" might be a bit misleading ;D
But it is something that can at least genetically be achieved by most
Jess has been an awesome addition to TRC. Absolutely love her character.
Agreed she's great isn't she?
She's awesome ❤ great energy
Ahh! I love Jess she has such a lovely nature! Get it girl 🎉 I reckon you can do it in 38:12 in 12 weeks time! You’ve got this xx
Gotta love the confident running Jess always displays. No pressure but I'm pretty sure she can go for 37:14!
Interesting my pb is 37.13
@@NathanHeaver takes a lot of hard work to get there man! props to you

incredible work, I recon a 37:40 time is going to be achieved, I'm currently training for a long trail run and this channel has been inspiring
39:17 I amazed you could maintain such pace and running form till end of run. Such impressive performance ✨

I am going to go for 38:41 in 12 weeks :)
This has inspired me to run more and enter a 10km race! You could definitely get 37.59
Totalling PBing at 38:27, you've got this Jess!
I love the element around all we need to be is better than we were yesterday. In an age over social media comparisons all we need to be doing is comparing ourselves to where we were yesterday. You’ve got this - 38:00 you will smash it
37.38 … Go Smash it 🏃🏼♀️
Found this video fun, not sure how I feel about running without music!
Good luck 🎉🎉🎉
I dont want to add to the pressure mentioned in this video, but given that you were so close on this run, and without your music, and having to talk to camera, you can dedinitrly break 40 minutes again! :) 12 weeks will fly by, enjoy as much as you can!
