Hey I just got my kqi2, love it, but one thing that’s weird is that the piece you push up to fold the scooter is a bit loose and vibrates/rattles when going over bumps. Have you also experienced this, and if so, how do I fix it?
I did not experience it on the KQi2, but I had a bit of a rattle on the KQi Air. I tightened the screw that holds the latch a littke bit and it helped. Try to see if any of the screws on the folding mechanism are slightly loose and if so try to tighten them a little bit.
Thank you for your video, it helped me a lot to figure out how to repack it properly with all those chunks of polystyrene 😁 Great e-scooter but sadly I had to return it because of a weird issue with Quick Lock where its impossible to reconnect to unlock it. I tried with several phones.
The most common issue I heard about is if the scooter was on the older firmware there was an issue where it might go into a safe mode and not want to turn on. I found more info on that from a user here old.reddit.com/r/ElectricScooters/comments/v04rzg/niu_kqi2_kickscooter_wont_turn_on/ib9sfso/ First I would contact NIU customer support and ask them about possible fixes. The KQi2 has a 2 year warranty so you should be covered either way.
I would love to review the NIU KQi3 Max. The Max is not yet available in Europe, should be later this year from what I read. Maybe I will get a chance to test it out then. Keep an eye on my channel and if I get my hands on it I will do a full review and other testing content with it for sure.
That is coming soon. I am in the process of making it. Still need to do full range test, etc. and ideally I want at least 200km on it before I finish the review.

hey, mine recently stopped working. do you know how to fix this? it worked fine until i came home and tried charging it. then it stopped working
