Even if you could run it.. should you given how the dirty devs and crook Chinese treat the game and the community who made them?? Remember.. 97% of people left Ark.. for good reason too.. I am one of them!! The few who hung on put up with a broken mess of a game that will never be fixed and the official servers are unplayable with the superior cheats & hacks that were made for this game!! That is why the RUclips shills always play in their own servers.. so none of that ever touches or affects them!!

I knew someone who was doing that.. he had to constantly wait in a queue.. sometimes for hours.. it solves the fact you need a $2000+ graphics card + a $5000+ computer but it does not solve the other problems.. the constant cheating & hacking in the official servers or the unstable mess of a game they imported into UE5 and introduced a whole lot of new issues on top of the issues they never fixed up with the UE4 game!! Of course the RUclips shills only want content so they forget about all of that and play in their safe spaces on their own servers!! This is all why 97% of the community left and have not come back!! Where is the game that we were promised where with UE5 it ran better on existing hardware?? Heck.. Palworld did it with UE5 so why can't the dirty devs of Ark do that too?? Personally I think we would be all better to go back to Ark: SE and make our own cluster of connected servers by sharing the Cluster ID.. at least people could run that game and it was nor ruined with the silly removal of the speed option!!
Like at this stage they could give me Ark: Scam Ascended for free and I would not accept it.. they lied to us.. they dev-wiped 20,000 official servers.. they lied about the special 'save game servers' from Nitrado working and went out of their way to kill Ark: SE to sell this steaming pile of shady sh*t to the community they have left over and they won't fix it up!! The scary thing is they probably don't know how to fix it up or they refuse too through absolutely laziness!! Worse.. they won't properly enforce their own cluster of official servers and even with direct evidence they take the bribes as pocket devs and let it all continue so those with the grey and black market stores (including Tea) can sell the stuff they stole from other players!! The consumers and community have always deserved more and better!! I just don't think this game or franchise can be saved and worse.. as predicted the TV Series was a woke steaming pile of sh*t that is an insult to the game and community that made all of this something once!!
Just rent a server with some friends.
Have you tried cloud gaming? It's available(I think) for xbox gamepass and ASA is free for gamepass, so it's quite cheap, you just need a good internet connection...
Excellent tutorial series. The knowledge barrier to entry into self-hosting is a big barrier, and this helps a lot.
I've been running my own servers for years and have been self-hosting on my own hardware since around the time Ragnarok was originally released. My hardware has been upgraded a bit since then, and I used to run my own ASE cluster but now have the start of my ASA cluster. Getting more people into self-hosting will help to make more people happier with the state of ASA since they run so much better. The Official and Nitrado hosted options are just terrible options and really don't do this game justice. Thank You

Hey Steve, must say, thanks for the most informative video, as Ive been for a longtime thinking about creating a private cluster, I have but 1 question I hope you maybe able to answer..... Could you give a realistic idea on how much "memory" a machine would require per map you add would be need at base game no mods, as ofcourse i understand adding mods would increase the "datastore", thus increasing the memory requirements above base levels.
I personaly believe 64Gb of memory is over the top for a small 10 man, 2 map server cluster, since the any server is generaly more cpu heavy.
Hope you catch this and are able to help me out, cheers and keep up the good work with the content ;)
Pingperfects stone package will be able to run 2 servers for sure. so 30gb ram
I think they have ran tests to see what you need to run more servers

You might get away with Grass but stone would be better, but ask support and they will help you out ;)

Hey great Video i try to do like in the video but with the new tool it is easyer but now have problem with connect to the server.. in my home network no problem but others can´t connect.. tried a lot of ports ans thw firewall settings to change (new tool create there own, so dont know if i need mine too) but nothing work.. any ideas or good new Videos? thx
Big question…how and when will The Center be available as a server option to add to the cluster?
Nitrado sucks so much with their monopolistic deal and wildcard sucks for their money management and lack of clear path following. Even knowing all of this, i still play ark on a daily basis. Scprched earth is just that fun. I was literally just sitting in a chair a few days ago and enjoying the storm on scorched earth

Anyone else have an error code 500.30 when trying to install the .net runtime that's required to use the Ark Server Creation Tool?
I have it all setup but when i transfer between maps it tells me i can't have any items but i your video you don't seem to have that problem.
I did some testing and i can transfer with items from island to scorched but not scorched to the island.

****UPDATE***Fpund it - command linme argument for the SECOND server was not set differently!!!
SO im now having an issue where i can see eache server from the other server... BUT i cnanot transfer it sicks downloading. or worse you cant even make a new character SErver A the island is on one port and the other server is on 7787 recreated your settings. any ideas? other than that my machine my connection and my friend in GERMANY can connect to my servers he says smoother than nitrado run! THANK YOU! but. nay helpo wither server transfers would be great. im going to keep searching

If you would rather join a Community established cluster, search “LBZ” in Main Menu it’s PvE. Has ASE and ASA and PalWorld
2-3 admins with thousands of ARK hours each

never mind, i tried all this nothing worked, refused to download mods, totally useless. the tool is different, they added clusters. Maybe when someone figures out how to install and update mods this would actually be a viable option, but until then its usless. now if i can just get a refund.

Im having trouble with running 1 server. Im trying to run the server from my computer while me a and my friends play from out playstations. I can get the server up but when i go to login i get a connection timeout. Anyone have any tips?
