Actually the guitar additions where really nice on the live performance I saw. They produced a raw primitive sound and most of people loved it (including me :D )
by no means does adding a distorted guitar make something darker and i dont think i actually said that it does if you cant hear the difference for youself then its your own loss i could sit here all day and give you reasons why it is darker but i really dont think your brain would be able to comprehend them

I think youll find what i said was it is their best work IN MY OPINION. It is a lot darker IN MY OPINION which is something you failed to mention in your throwaway comment "there new album is more rock and thats why its shit " music is a matter of opinion everyone has different tastes one day if or when you grow up a bit you may realise this

I have discovered this band several months ago. And just can't stop listening it:-)
War stories is their best work to date in my opinion. It is a lot darker than their other albums and maybe you just cant handle that.

these actions would be something that happens subconciously much similar to the fight or flight response which is beyond your own concious control

you can't try to compare unkle with rock bands tho because they're much more a dance music outfit primarily.
