This was so entrancing to watch *___* i seriously don't understand how you draw those ink lines at the end with such confidence X'D 👌👌 really love the colour scheme of this piece too!
Your art has been improving rapidly and I have no clue how you do it, but it looks absolutely amazing! It's been so fun following you for this long and seeing your improvements.
Pls pls don’t stop doing real time art coz I’m really learning from you, art is my hobby and it’s really my mental health therapy lately.. am a nurse in UK and suffering from PTSD Covid work-related and doing art is like a meditation for me
I wrote down so many prompt lists with the intention of using every last one of them, but I knew having to do a piece of ink art every day for a month would be impossible and stressful for me with a full time job, classes, and fur babies to take care of. So I decided to do all those prompts from October 1st, 2021 to October 31st, 2022. I gave myself an entire year and I'm also not going to force myself to use ink in some form for every one. I'm also not going to do any of the prompts that just don't interest me or ones that are repeats in the different lists.
i just got my order from your shop last night & your prints are so beautiful AND you gave me an extra sticker which was very kind!! thank you so much!! i even kept the washi tape from the envelope in my sketchbook
Okay this HAS to be a new favorite from you! There is something so satisfying about how effortlessly you blended all those colors together and the rendering has me absolutely weak!! So lovely to watch eyes have been blessed 😔💕
ahh, this color palette is absolutely lovely. I like it because it's like you said: usually with a snake (and also sort of with witches too), there's usually green in mind, but this approach is very like....idk it feels like a more calming playful side?? I think the colors help make this feel soft but still kinda powerful since there's also deep maroonish throughout this piece. This made me miss the times i tried experimenting with acrylic ink and water! I've been running away from a lot of fun traditional art from fear of confronting hahaha but i'll get there. I also love the fashion inspiration, I will definitely be checking out said lingerie sight! We stan pretty witches and their pretty pink snakes 💕
Appreciate the way you talk through your process w/out putting me to sleep 😊 all your videos are so helpful and I adore your style! Thank you for sharing all this hard work 🙌🏼
When i did a figure drawing class the teacher had one week we did ink washes. After the first class my ink went missing & i got permission to use my watercolor instead. It was monochrome & i used the paint for the entire piece, but since im a watercolorist and never really built my drawing skill. My 3 "wash" pieces were the best ones i did in the whole semester lol.
I have had inks and i never really knew how to use them, but after this video it makes a lot more sense and i might try it! Also you are an amazing artist keep it up!
Absolutely lovely work and video again Tina! I have a great selection of acrylic inks that I hardly ever use, but will definitely get them out soon after watching this. Thanks for that spark of inspiration!
This was incredibly helpful besides being so lovely to watch. I’ve recently pulled out my acrylic inks again and after watching this I realized I was totally using these wrong before and therefore wasn’t getting the results I wanted. Thank you for this! Hearing about the techniques you were using while seeing the results was so so so helpful.
i think this is one of my favorite artworks you've done, when i saw the thumbnail i was wowed, the color pallete is so so nice and you are so good with inks!!! all washes look so clean and smooth i really love everything about this piece
this piece looks AMAZING! Definitely one of my favorites from you! watching this inspired me to go continue some projects I had left unfinished. Also, the blending/shading technique was so interesting. I really need more practice with inks so this was a neat trick to see in action!
I’ve only used acrylic black ink when I was taking an Illustration class and it was really fun to use. I’m still not to using it but I do like it. I like how you can get different shades of color depending on how much water you add. I really like the illustration you did. The pattern of the boa constrictor is really cool and came out well. 🤩💕
Oh this is so beautiful! It's my favourite of yours so far - not only is it flawless and interesting but the colour palette is to die for. Nice job Tina! X
I heard you say Boas "aren't pink" right after I left a comment saying Rosy Boas are my favorite snake but no one ever paints them! I thought you picked Boa on purpose because Rosy Boas are totally like a brown/blush/salmon color. (morphs can be full blown pink, too) Edit: wrong pattern for a Rosy Boa but now I know why, it was a total accident that it has Rosy Boa colors. That's so awesome, imo. Looks great!
Why have I never thought of using my acrylic ink for full painting 🤯😭I love water color for the textures and solid colors but I like doing shadows first for some reason I just prefer working “bacKwarDs” altogether on a piece. I’m so glad I’m subscribed to get you art wisdom✨✨✨ also beautiful colors and the snake was especially well done
When I saw the thumbnail, I was shook! I knew I wanted to watched the video, and goshh you're such an inspiration to just have fun in drawing! Also loveeee the way you draw!
although our art styles are so different. Your videos inspire me to keep going, especially when i doubt if its worth it. If i'll actually be able to share my art with the world. thank you :)
My cousin has a pet boa constrictor, and I got to hold her some times. The first time, she was the size shown in this illustration. Now she's almost 3m long and too heavy to be on anyone's shoulders. She's still the cutest baby, though ❤️
I love snakes and great work! I need to draw at lest one of the prompts before the month is up. I don't have a lot of acrylic inks but its on my list to get more. I'm so use to watercolors that its hard to get use to it. Great video! :D
Your correct but I kind of would pick watercolor because sometimes I make weird mistakes with my drawings and I need to correct but it will get kind of messy threw it wont dry so Ink is good but it matter of what skill you are in and where you will put your art work at. Your art skills make me shiver of how wonder-full it is- Happy Halloween
For sure! It's going to be different for everyone and personally I typically go for my watercolours more than my inks Thanks so much! Happy Halloween to you too!
I'm amazed how smooth your ink looks in the paper! I have been inkwash comics 10 years and just recent understood to value paper quality too 😅Now I'm learning paint with ink colour and it scares me. Should I just try paint illustration first before trying colour my comics?
I adore this illustration, it’s one of my favorites you’ve done yet!! (Side note: thank you so much for including a snake, I know you’re one of the fellow snake appreciators lol)
Loved this video, made me sub. I just started using inks so I’m devouring as much ink painting content I can see. Thanks for posting. How long did this painting take you?
I’m so glad I waited till I was fully awake to watch this, didn’t want to miss a single second! The tones are gorgeous and I think I’m gonna have to contribute to your drawing challenge! I always learn so much from your videos too, thank you for taking the time to make such in depth and high quality videos for us all 💜
This was such an incredible process to watch! I love the character, the colors, the snake, all of it! 💜 Do you think you’ll sell copies of this illustration in your store? 😊 Thanks as always for sharing your process. I learn so much from you!
You say that sometimes you will glaze watercolors over the dryed inks at the end. Why is that? What is the benefit of using watercolors at that stage? or what is the benefit of using watercolors over acrylic inks in any other stage? Thanks! I learned a lot
Have been on a super long hiatus from making anything at all. I feel bad about not making art but life is literally so stressful right now. Any tips for the unsound mind?
Can you tell me what you intended with her left arm? I see it bends at the elbow and continuing towards the left side of the painting, it looks almost like her wrist is bending upwards like another elbow. I’m confused, can you explain please

Period.
The little snakey kiss on the cheek is so cute 🥺. The color palette is also very nice and calming 😌💕
Hehehe I'm glad you noticed!! Thank you so much

I love the pink snake
Hahaha AW I'm so glad you like this piece!!
I'll definitely have it available when I open my shop back up next month!

Okay this HAS to be a new favorite from you! There is something so satisfying about how effortlessly you blended all those colors together and the rendering has me absolutely weak!! So lovely to watch eyes have been blessed 😔💕
Perfect timing. I bought an ink Christmas Calendar. I'm new to ink
THANK YOU!!! for this information! At times I can't seem to get enough brightness from watercolors, so I'm going to try this.

Too cute and outstanding Teacher in different ways of coloring. Thumbs up to Super Teacher Tina.

I saw this and immediately thought of a snake drawing I did lol. Aren’t snakes great?! I love the pink color you used here!!
Thanks so much!! Snakes are such a cool motif in illustrations!
Your art inspires me so much, it's so cool seeing you improve 💕💕
Love drawing while listening to your videos
I'm so glad! Thank you
Winsor and newton sells an AMAZING gold drawing ink if you dont already have it. Their gold and silver are just so eye catching!

🤩 You're indeed a wonder.
🤎 the shading and shadow effects.
My favorite pink!! 🥺😍
Oh my oh my!!! This painting is absolutely amazing!!!
Amazing! This is what I've been working towards and you're just doing it. Thanks for showing us how it's done.
I have had inks and i never really knew how to use them, but after this video it makes a lot more sense and i might try it! Also you are an amazing artist keep it up!
Yaay I hope it's helpful for you! Thanks so much
Very informative and very helpful. I've painted with watercolor for a long time and I wanted to know how to use ink to expand my abilities. Thank you!

Great video and so enjoyable to watch! I love mixed media and am always looking for combinations. This makes me excited to try the ink!
Acrylic Ink is currently my favorite Medium, so I was extremely happy to see that you uploaded an Ink Illustration video again 💕 It's so beautiful!!
this peice is amazing!! but im so confused by that arm, why does it have 2 bends. is it character design or a mistake or am I being stupid
No I noticed that too I was hoping someone would explain 😭
I was confused at first too, but I think it's supposed to be the bent hand holding her other arm :)
The beginning of fingers on the left hand would help but it’s gorgeous nonetheless!
this piece looks AMAZING! Definitely one of my favorites from you! watching this inspired me to go continue some projects I had left unfinished.

Aww thank you so much 😀
Keep growing in the future. Always cheering for you and being with you as a friend.. My friend's videos are absolutely amazing.👍
so "pink" boas exist, their morph is called lavender etc :)
Wonderful piece and most beautiful tutorial. Thank you for sharing your process, time and enjoyable personality!

@@imawonder thank you 😊 I appreciate the support!!! It means so much. ❤
This is so beautiful! I was inspired by you to use acrylic inks before but failed miserably! This video inspires me to try again!
Love this color palette so much! Makes me more tempted to try acrylic inks!
the color palette really inspires me! Lovely 😊
you do get pink boa constrictor morphs and the size you have drawn is fine, they even get bigger than that and really really heavy lol
My cousin has a pet boa constrictor, and I got to hold her some times. The first time, she was the size shown in this illustration. Now she's almost 3m long and too heavy to be on anyone's shoulders. She's still the cutest baby, though ❤️

Her arm on the left (the arm folded into the other one, not showing the hand) looks really strange? Like the forearm is broken
Signs of the beginning of fingers might help but gorgeous nonetheless!
@@MrsQuam yes! Agreed, the closer I looked I could see that’s her wrist, but fingers would help

Always fun to watch your processs. Definitely want to try making an illustration with acrylic ink now :)

the reason it has an eye pattern on it is because birds have a phobia of eyes! so something thats convincingly eye enough can keep birds away.
Amazing 🥰
Have been on a super long hiatus from making anything at all. I feel bad about not making art but life is literally so stressful right now. Any tips for the unsound mind?
do you make the drawing digitally before tranfering into the paper?
How long did it take for the paint to dry on paper and in your pallet?
