Not in yt app. But in browser eg Chrome 2k and 4k work (with dropping a lot of frames). 2k works pretty normal in chrome. But more important thing : it plays hdr 1080p av1 despite the fact that the cpu doesn't support av1 codec officially
@hOlyscIentistPH yeah, they have replied to me. They say that its the ambient light sensor. If i knew this earlier and plus the mono speakers, i would have gotten the Redmi Note 12 pro instead sigh
@loveleysacen8821 confirmed, I've been using it over 2 weeks. Even asked honor 3 times to be sure. Its not an IR blaster. Its the ambient light sensor. I've tested it n its correct..it dims the screen if its covered
The X9a and the Magic 5 lite are the same phone. They just label it differently in some markets.

This phone would have. Been great if it had a dimensity 8100 chip or just the dimensity 1300 chip instead of a very old snapdragon chip.

EMUI/MAGIC UI hasn't evolved a bit for 4 years now, really dated.
I really regret buying honor x9a. Because it is not equipped with a headset. The shop owner said, you have to buy the handset.
