Slower ambient-y tracks like this are hard to capture with 8bit chips, but you did an amazing job, and also conjured a really cool surreal atmosphere that's different from the original but also valuable in itself c: Great work!
This is cool to listen to! Ambient music is underappreciated, and probably requires subtlety. And it's also cool that you're in school and have this skill with VRC6 music. I'm in college as well, but I always think of being greatly skilled somehow is something I may become when I'm older.
Yeah i LOVE ambient music esp the tracks in Zelda. And hey, theres no need to wait! You can get the skills no matter how young or old. But if thats what u want then waiting is completely fine too!

How do you achieve this adsr? I can't make strings in famitracker... It's an effect or do you do it in the instrument volume?
