I just found this yesterday and listened to it on a drive from Raleigh to, funnily enough, Greensboro lol. I just wanted to comment that this is genuinely one of the most incredible things I've listened to. Maybe it helps that I'm not cis myself and I could feel the gender oozing through the album but, beyond the music is just incredible on its own as well. Thank you for sharing this!

As a trans girl who's still in the closet said whose family is heavily against LGBTQ, I totally understand the idea of feeling like you're trapped in a cage. This is a really cool album. Great job.

as someone dealing with Gender-Related Things of my own, the portrayal of gender as a massive prison, and the way the story is told as if it's some sort of an ancient myth, is INCREDIBLE and very impactful for me. each individual track is incredible too, and the way they connect ties it all together so well- the Euphoria track represents the feeling so well. i'll spread this album everywhere i can, because it's one of the best things i've listened to from you yet

This one is bold, broad, and filled with color amidst the chaos. Seamless transitions and a variety of time signatures paint the simple tale of Ayerora with complexity and cinematic tension I haven't heard from this medium in a long time. All the various chips and different instruments lend themselves well to the monolithic scale of expressing the true self, and the unending will to see through to it. A wonderful culmination of audible blood sweat and tears. Well done.
Amazing as always 😍 [Spoilers ahead for new listeners] The music was emotional to a degree that I (a someone with flat affect syndrome, for context) rarely ever feel so strongly, evocative and relatable as hell of every moment in Ayerora's journey, and just *so* goddamn ear catching. I love the addition of that jazzy saxophone, gah it's all so good. Your poetic writing was absolutely gorgeous; there were some clever, small things like using harsh B word alliteration to emphasize the status quo of masculinity/using softer S word alliteration to emphasize the status quo of femininity that I found really interesting. The way you made the pronoun changes feel in those moments of the story, conjoining the music and the writing so strongly, was, like, stellar. Just stellarly executed. The imagery was STRONG, it all served the story so, so, so well. It felt like a very emotionally grounded realm of fantasy. This was really, really good. While obviously coming from a very personal place, you've crafted a beautiful monument to the uphill battle of gender identity and being one's self in the modern day, and a touching memorial dedicated to those who perished on the climb. Thank you.
