  • Rudolf Bultmann (1884-1976) was a German Lutheran theologian whose work highlighted the difficulties of treating early Christian texts as simple historical narratives, while at the same time highlighting their importance as documents of faith.
Henri Gagey, from the Institut Catholique in Paris, is an expert on Bultmann's theology and presents an introduction to it here.

Bultmanns theology upon myths in NT (that also goes for the OT) saved my faith. I hope the viewers take time to read about that.

Many persons arguing that Bultmann's theology failed to explain the New Testament properly & also some of his students modified it in some ways for the contemporary believers. I cannot understand that exactly about the present state of conclusion in this particular concern.

The best Theologian in my opinion is the late Dr. Hans Kung.
