    ...love the final statement.. '..the universe is a sign of that which created it..' St Augustine's study of Plato has to be close to the importance of St Paul's conversion, in my view! Why? St Paul structured the messianic message of Jesus Christ to both gentiles and Jews in the same way St Augustine structured the esoteric 'reason' of Plato within a Christian church doctrine. The 'eternal good', such a profound statement from Plato four centuries before Jesus was born.. really like these short q & a's on this channel..

    Brilliant guys, thanks. I think there is a piece missing here that I would add to Plato's ideas. The created universe points to Eternal God, but also, God though love, compassion, mercy, and caring, points back to us. God is not distant or aloof, but always responding and interacting with us.
